Even though he would probably be the 1st to admit he did not have a good game yesterday there is something about this player that excites me.
Its been a while since we have had a player that has such an eye for an attacking pass, and the skill to pull it off, the last I can remember was the magic man Merson.
You can see that parts of the game are passing him by at the moment but we have to remember that a lot of players are simply lost when exposed to the premiership. He will improve when he learns how to play here properly and he gets over the steep learning curve needed to flourish, and flourish he will IMO.
I am genuinely looking forward to seeing him play next season.
Excellently put.

Grayson is a poor manager imo and is relying on the attacking talent his side possesses. Their defence is probably worse then ours.
I agree about Lambert though, he looks tactically smart and a good motivator.

Played a few nice balls again but it's always gonna be hard for a player to come into a new league in a relegation fight. Especially when you're not the type of player suited for it.
So unlucky with the penalty.
-
Never ever a penalty. Jagielka just ran into Makoun.
But was definitely an Everton goal just before our 2nd so kind of equal in the end.
Beckford was offside and that was the decision made hence the freekick.
-
FFS 2-2 it is then.
-
We need to make a change.
-
Clock is going down so slowly.
Too true.
-
How did he miss that?!
Sort it out defence!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
What a ball by Young and a great finish by Bent.
Get the f**k in!
-
YES Bent you beauty.
Another Downing assist
-
When was the last time we come back from behind?
-
Great run by Downing, keep it up!
-
Collins gets us into trouble already
-
Bradley seems to be a waste of time, if he can't make the bench. That's unless he's tired from international duty.
Also no Baker on the bench which is odd.
-
Friedel, Walker, Dunne, Collins, Young, A Young, Reo-Coker, Makoun, Downing, Bent, Agbonlahor .
No Carlos Gabby better be up front, and Ash on wing.

What's with all the bias against the English managers?
It's like the England job all over.
People write off the likes of Allardyce and Curbishley but why?
They've done more than Coyle, Hughton, Lambert, Poyet etc.
EDIT:Oh and before anyone goes off on one about Allardyce playing long ball, Allardyce says he has only played direct football because of the clubs he has been at and the resources he has had at his disposal.
They've done more because they have been in the game longer of course...
Add to the fact they could get a job back in the day purely on their average reputations. Hence why until recently no young managers have been given a chance and hence why we have so few upcoming English managers.
Also you can play other styles at smaller clubs and be successful, to suggest otherwise is simply untrue. All it takes is time and patience.

Anyone just watch St Pauli?
Went 1-0 down then had an equaliser disallowed for offside which was questionable. A minute later Schalke went and scored a second. Pauli then had two red cards, one a straight red for a shocking tackle. But on the 89th minute the linesman was hit on the head by a plastic beer cup and the game was abandoned. The other linesman also said he had some coins thrown by him. The commentator was moaning but I think it was the right decision considering how little time there was left and the scoreline.

I'd imagine they'll get Neuer behind them this summer and then sign someone from abroad.
Why they ever let Hummels go I don't know...

He's not a 15m let alone 20m defender. For that reason he is a bit overrated. He is a good defender though, he will have a very good career and as SGC said he had an excellent full debut for England the other night. For me he is the fourth best centre back in the England setup behind Ferdinand, Terry and Dawson.

Cube.
Excellent film, exceeded my expectations. Can be interpreted in so many ways and had me on the edge of my seat for most of the film. There is stuff you can pick holes at but it is a very enjoyable watch.
-
Has anyone seen Following - Christopher Nolan's first film? Sounds kinda similar to that London crime genre. I've been meaning to see it.
I watched that last night funnily enough, very clever film but acted quite poorly.
Well worth the watch and only 70 minutes long if it ends up not being your cup of tea.

Just started my first proper FM game this year, decided to be Hellas Verona after reading about their history in 'The Blizzard'. I have a huge budget for a Serie C1/A side. £750k and I am paying a big amount of rent for a 35k seater stadium. Gonna be in debt soon

He'd have at least 30 prem goals if he started a full season.
At least 30 :/ Come on be realistic here. More like 50.

I wish Poyet had more experience as I like him a lot.
Excellent young manager.
