Baena with just the three assists today for Villarreal. Takes him to 12 in 29 games. That's the most in La Liga btw, second best are a few on 8.
I'd be shocked if he isn't a target this summer. Unai loved him at Villarreal. Only thing is the price and maybe more pressing positions to resolve.

Has to be Diaby in for Youri. Changing our formation would be a terrible idea and can't see Unai doing that.

Least pages on Villatalk after a year in charge as nobody has anything to complain about?
Most watched manager cams.

Bournemouth win again. Iraola having a superb season. Think it took him a while to find his favoured eleven and for them to buy into the ideas but since then they've been flying.
One to watch next season. Lots of talented players at his disposal.

Such immense corners they take. Without them they'd be in a top four race not a title race. So many goals.

Someone should do one for Diaby this summer...

Tielemans a bigger miss than Martinez for this game.

Had a a very friendly hug with Pochettino before the game. I reckon there was something in those rumours in January.

Desperately hope you are right but I don’t think you take off a player like Emi in a game as big as that as a precautionary measure.
I think they were aware of the issue before the game, he was rubbed down and carried on. At 2-0 they hopefully felt it was a risk worth taking to wrap him up for a week.

Genuinely don't know what he did wrong?
Of course we missed Emi but come on... Blamed for everything.

We all lose a yard of pace but it's incredible he's lost all ability to cross a ball or weight a pass or take a free kick
Like seriously, Where's that gone? Ow do you lose that?
At Premier League pace if your legs are gone you're going to struggle to even hit the ball how you're used to if you've not got anything in the tank.
Most of us would be barely standing at that age and at that pace.

Burnley might be a trickier game than expected for Spurs, they're at least showing some fight. Love a self implosion though.

They've had their fair share of injuries too.
Enciso was out for ages, only just back. Started his 3rd game of the season.
Mitoma and March have been out a while now. March has played 7 games this season.
Webster has played 9 games.
Estupinan was out for a while too.
All of these players are key players who would start most games if fit.
There's just no consistency for them, only three players have started over 20 games. Partly De Zerbi's fault too as he likes to rotate even without injuries, but some of the replacements just aren't good enough.

Just watching the podcast now....I assume the player he's talking about from 8 minutes is Samatta as his performances massively declined as soon as football returned during lockdown.
I was genuinely wondering what had happened as he'd looked o.k in the 4-5 games he first played.
Edit: Might've been Trez given he did alright the next season according to Terry.
I was thinking it may have been Anwar, he was pretty poor in the COVID season and had the shocker against Everton away. But the season after he was hitting them in from everywhere.
Whereas Trez kinda saved our arse after the return from the break.

De Bruyne is joke, easily going to end up one of the best players ever in the Premier League.

Olise is definitely more suited to a title chasing side. Both are quite injury prone though.

No Enzo, he's out for the season now so he can have surgery before Copa America.

Chelsea already look absolutely shite which of course means they'll turn up on Saturday.

Shows the farce of the rules. Could have snapped his ankle.

Absolute coward and fraud.
First manager I idolised, so young and dumb I was.
Can safely say Emery is the polar opposite.
