I do think at his age Clark is a better centre back, agree there. Cahill was good, but remembered more for his goal than his defensive qualities.

Cahill scored our best ever goal in my opinion though...ever. Bicycle kick...in front of the holte...against SHA...he was a center back, not a center forward. He'll forever be in my good books.

The guy is a legend in the making...if not a legend already. He has great awareness of players around him. A lot of our younger players are ace already.

Great game to be at today, the atmosphere was improved slightly and the lads in claret and blue never really looked phased by Blackburn. What a goal from Pires loool, didn't expect that. Delfouneso, Bannan and Clark stood out for me today. Bannan especially. Braving the cold weather was more than worth it and I had a little proud moment walking past the away fans hehe. Got a chant going saying 'you're the sh*t of lancashire' a few people chanted with me. They said 'villa is a sh*thole'...there's no place such as 'villa' it's Birmingham. Anyway the game was great and I love Houliers little prank he plays...'Houlier give us a wave' and everytime he goes to sit back down but turns around and waves last minute...got to love that. Bring on the next round.

The bells are ringing. It has history and is a decent tune, though I wouldn't mind stand by me. I've wanted us to have an anthem for aaaaages, it's what we need in my opinion. It would certainly help the atmosphere to get better. Though there's always a danger that we'll only sing one song like SHA or wet spam.

Back him! A manager needs time to settle in and get to know his full squad. I've backed him from beginning to end and despite him being wrong some of the time like subs in the 85th I will also back him in the future.

I'm really disappointed by him to be honest. I gave him loads of chances when others started to get on his back and it seems he doesn't care at all. To be a villa player in my eyes you have to be passionate and put 120% effort in.
