Villa_Source chats absolute bollocks, he had about 2 followers the day before the transfer window opened. Some people seem to believe anything they read on Twitter. A lot of these ITK's that people believe end up coming out and saying they are wind up merchants.
On the other hand those quotes from Countinho's agent about us sound promising. If we signed him, don't think the guy by himself would be the answer to our midfield problems, we'd still need a reasonably experienced leader or destroyer in there.
I don't think Julie is on about the Twitter Villa_Source. Or maybe she is. Who knows. I was under the impression it was to do with an article that I dare not mention. I think that ship has well and truly sailed.

Before matches, I try to remain positive and normally feel quite optimistic with my predictions in the match thread.
However, I am beginning to lose patience in this team now. They are simply not good enough.
Ok, we lost to Chelsea and Spurs heavily. Kind of accept it reluctantly..But our performances against Wigan at Home & Bradford tonight are bordering along embarassing.
Bennett is a waste of space at this club. I was all for giving this kid a chance, but my 5 yr old nephew could knock him off the ball. Bannan is hopeless and seems to enjoy running around in circles.
Our defence is worst than last year if that is possible. Warnock anyone? Better than what we have right now that's for sure. And why we didn't bring in two CB's in the Summer is beyond me. Add to the fact that now with Vlaar looking like he is never going to make a recovery soon enough, we desperately need leaders. But not one in sight....
To be carved open the way were were against a League Two side, who since beating Arsenal have lost 3 of the last five games is simply unacceptable.
This Saturday is make or break for these kids.....As if it wasn't already. Sink or swim. Lose, they will sink and fast.
I am going to predict a nervy 1-1 and that is me to blindly optimistic. My real prediction is 3-1 Saints.

Wow. This boy is shocking. The longer we have the likes of Bannan and Bennett is our team, the quicker we can get use to playing their brand of football next season. Championship standard.

Noone is disputing that. It is the fact of people saying it is done. I'm not going to requote it again. Cannot be arsed. I'm sure it will happen 'eventually'. But it isnt done.

Fair play. No-one is saying that it will not be done in this window. I think any Villa fan could predict that is was always likely. It is when people are saying it is currently completed right now, when infact, that isnt the case at all.

Thing is most of our woeful players are our own academy players. Not sure what you want lambert to do.
Agreed. A lot of our Academy players just are not Premiership quality. I personally would like us to get rid of a lot of our young players - Herd, Albrighton, Lichai, Bannan, Fonz, & Delph.
Just not good enough. Can appreciate, we will not be seeing a mass exodus like this....But, I just do not rate any of the players listed. Sure, some will do a job to a degree...But not of any real qualiy.

Oh ff'ing dear! This club is in real trouble.
I really thought Lerner would back Lambert this month, but I was wrong. Two players will not cut it for our very flimsy inexperienced squad. It kind of makes tomorrow even more crucial now. Things are becoming very worrying for our club. The squad just simply isn't good enough as it stands.
