The 'Danish International' that Astvil123 was on about on twitter is actually Dutch non-international Kelvin Leerdam. So that link appears to have legs as it's coming from a few sources now.

I have a feeling that Lambert is going to keep the majority of his signings young I think 26-27 is about as old as he's going to go, for example the rumour catching a little bit of speed on Twitter with Kelvin Leerdam coming here, he's 22. Dale Stephens is 23. I don't think many if any of our signings will be "old" players.

Be interesting to see what happens with this Leerdam link as Villa_Source revealed this link weeks ago....And Stephens. We'll see if anything transpires.

I agree, I stop short of saying I agree entirely as I would probably go further. I think he is rubbish.

Such a limited player. I really don't see what he actually offers to the team....Apart from maybe, if I am being kind; the relationship and understanding he has developed with Westwood. Nothing else. God knows why Westwood was brought off.

Not impressed with Bennett at all. Ok, he needs time, but from what I have seen so far - he doesn't look even decent when it comes to defending.

A truely embarassing display. Lamberts tactics today were so bewildering. I am sorry, but I do not rate Joe Bennett. When he came on, he was a fault for at least 2 of the goals. One of them, he just stood there and allowed the player to run through and score.
