I think every journo is just throwing names into the ring now....And although he seems to be on the money more often than not; Mat Kendrick seems to be playing a guessing game as well. Is that a smoke-screen ploy as he is so close to Villa sources ...Who knows. Usually I take his info as gospel but now I'm very sceptical.

One things for sure the Bookmakers are loving this. All the names that have been banded about...All they do is drop their odds accordingly; gamblers read into the decrease in odds....resulting in massive massive bets to try and make some sort of profit on it believing they are dead certs.....

I'd stick an outside bet on Sanchez Flores if I could find a bookmaker offering any odds..

It would seem that Randy is a fan of Rhianna...............He works on formula's... (excuse the pun) Rhianna+Umbrella = McClaren. Ouch!!

Paul Sturrock. Now that is a joke!!! Victor Chandler is known for putting ridiculous odds. I won £800 last year on a 800/1 bet when Neil Robertson was losing 12-6 in the snooker. Anyway, I still think Carlo's our man!!

Im really not fond of Ancelotti being manager. He has never built a team and he could struggle because of this.

It does make me laugh how one paper source states that someone is favourite for the Villa job, or someone has insisted that he is interested in the vacant position; then suddenly the odds decrease. Rijkaard is now 9/1. I know that is how betting works and speculation means that bookmakers have to protect themselves. It is just quite funny how many times over the past 4-5 days the favourite has changed almost every few hours. It is anyones guess really.

Well after last nights 'inside scoop' I've stuck £30 on Moyes at 16-1 with BetFred.

The £480 profit will come in very handy for summer hols!

At around 2:30ish this morning, I think Yankee gave some news that his source thought that Moyes was favourite to take the job. Speculation, reliable info, call it what you want.
