Even if there isn't a release clause, I would think 5 million will deffo get accepted looking at our financial situation. If we can get 5 million pounds for him we are back to financial stability without any debts.'.

You recon? Looks a lot older, darker, Spanish/Portuguese looking rather than blondish and Dutch like Luuk De Jong. If the other guy is Ramis, that other guy is probably his agent. Oh second glance, it doesn't look like either. Certainly doesn't look like Ramis unless we are signing a 40 yr old version.

Lambert obviously knows the squad needs strengthening, & is looking to spend wisely. If a marquee signing becomes available, i am sure Lambert has Randy's backing.

Fair enough. It was not directed at you specifically. It was a general observation on some of the views I have seen over the last few pages. There is plenty to be positive about this pre-season. I'm sure we are going to see plenty more faces coming in & of decent quality to improve our squad moving forward. UTV

Wow, it really doesn't take long for the negativity to resurface. One tweet from Nursey & many are beginning to question the funds available. Lambert obviously knows there is a lot of rebuilding to be done. Movement both ways. For all we know, it means that we're not going to be spending big on individual players; which is a wise move in my opinion. We don't need to spend big, we need to spend very wisely. The squad needs freshening up in a number of positions, so spending big on individuals wouldn't be prudent moving forward. I still think we will sign one marquee player personally, & I am hoping it is a striker to play up top with Benty. Would be great to have a partnership of two strikers who are both capable of getting 15 plus goals a season. That would be ideal.
