If Martinez is considered the man for the job, I believe that Randy has decided, with a new vision and direction plus the necessary funds available to him - RM can lead Villa back to a team that plays attractive football that entertains the crowd. Some will no doubt argue if funds are available, why can't we attract a better manager. Although keeping Wigan up by the skin of their teeth isn't exactly a glowing reference, Martinez is a great thinker of the game, still learning his craft and has exactly the right philosophy we have been lacking at our club for some time.
