I'd rank them: Alan Smith (his passion and commitment to winning the ball 8) ) Forrsel (Good scoring record and no longer plays for Small Heath ) Yakubu (Powerful striker, quick direct and strong ) Robbie Keane (Coz he's irish mainly but is quite a smart player who knows where the net is .... so to speak ) Jestrovic (never heard seen the fella play :| ) Carlton Cole (Not direct, doesn't run at defenders, always peels out to the left side and crap goals ratio :roll: ) Earnshaw (50p head plays for Baggies, better than carlton cole but is a Baggies loser :evil: )

Steve Davis. He's given Villa a lift by coming through the ranks. He's provided competition in midfield. His touch is excellent and he's given Villa fans something interesting to talk about. Hats off of course to Ridgewell who has done very well. However Davis is my choice.

I personally got worried when news broke of the potential manufacturer deal with hummel as I've always taken the mick out of their pub football style sunday league kits! I don't blame the current staff at all. just think that these problems might been easier dealt with when the kids are coming throught... as in "this is the sort of crap your gonna get on the pitch from players and fans." Think it would be better to let the players know the pressures they may come under in big games in the future.
