3 points at the weekend will be fine, we don't need to win 5-0?!
Well it’s a slight exaggeration, but I’d prefer to have a better GD than spurs at this point!

If we fail to win 5-0 at the weekend then this would have been pointless. Might as well of gone full strength.

Our GD! FFS
-
I mean, we’re pretty much going to lose this. But I don’t feel like we have shifted out of first, maybe second gear. And I think that has been planned. We probably shouldn’t have had such a shite wall for the free kick. But at the same time, us being stupid enough to give away fouls in those positions is rediculously naive. Have city given one away to us in that first 45? I don’t remember one! We have some things that we need to work on.
But I think for us to be able to experiment and play like this which is far away from what we normally play like, is brilliant! -
Still a bit naive of our lot to pull back on a player in that position and not expect them to go down. Something we need to learn about pretty sharpish on our quest for success.

Commentator banging on about what a brilliant term that was from Doku. He fell over FFS!
Yea but imagine if he pulled it off

Pep really is the most unlikable bloke in football.
I was watching the City doc on Netflix earlier, and was thinking that he is an absolute genius. How he gets his sides to do what they do is extraordinary. For that I have to like him a little bit…

This will be disallowed of course because it was an unexpected and unplanned goal for a Sky side to concede

If city won 20-0, meaning we have the same GD as Man U… could they then catch us?

WHAT TIME IS IT?!

Smart. Giving some of our second string a chance against smaller opposition. Should be an easy win this.

THANK YOU!
It's driving me crazy that people are still mentioning them. They're irrelevant
Mentioning who?

So by my calculations we have played 30 games, Spurs have played 30 games and we are two points above them, so that should mean we can sign Januzaj on loan?

@Tayls was going on about them winning nine in a row. They still have 9 games.
Even with that we'd just need 5 wins and draw from last eight so shows realistically what a remote prospect it is.
They aren't getting close to nine wins and a poor end to the season probably still results in us winning three more games and a draw or two.
I never said they are going to win 9 in a row I said they are probably capable of it. And then all I said was I wouldn’t be comfortable until it’s mathematically impossible. That’s far away from me saying, “Man U are going to catch us and we will finish 28th in the league.”

In fairness to Tayls despite the performance they nearly did win the game! I think that's the angle he's looking at. Despite the shit they're picking up results.
They are jammy AF. We all know that over the years. Things go their way more often than not. I agree that they aren’t what they used to be. Seen them play a few times this season (on tv) and I’ve been bored watching them. But, they will still pick up results. Is it difficult for them to finish above us, yes, is it impossible, no. Are we capable of doing an Aston Villa and letting it slip away. Yes.
8 games. Let’s go.

So you watched them today and your conclusion was they could *checks notes* easily win 9 in a row? United. Zero goal difference Manchester United. This is technically an opinion yes, but it's not a serious one.
My post was before the game… I also said they ‘could easily win 9 in a row, and it probably wouldn’t be that surprising”… Not quite sure what you are getting at tbh.

FFS. This game eh.

Typical.

I like Zani. Have backed him all season. It’s been a tricky one for him, as it has with many players who are new to this league. Plus he’s on loan, so you’d have to imagine his mindset is a little all over the place… where will he be in a few months time etc etc.

Oh dear. it’s a forum for people to share opinions. As a long term reputable poster you should be aware of that? Disappointing.
