  1. Thank **** for that (was just about to say Walker looking pretty good too).
  2. We seem to be doing a lot of hoofing the ball up and loosing it straight away
  3. Definitely Clarke's fault, Dunne at least stopped Bentley
  4. I'm not a STH and while I do believe in the medium to long term a lot of things needed to be changed and that Houllier does look to be making some of these changes, none of these should be at the expense of survival in the Premiership. Infact none of these should be at the expense of being anywhere near the bottom 3 at this stage in the season and not at least finishing 10th (12th at a push). Well the above hopes have been and gone, too much change too quickly. I don't know what will fix this, but I think i'm in the camp of anything but the Championship, whether that requires big Sam or whatever.
  5. Problem is, we could easily be competing with Livepool and Chelsea for him tomorrow morning. West Ham may be looking to, though don't think they'd stand a chance (or us anymore than them to be honest).
  6. Time for a certain Frenchman to find an exit door. If not now, then certianly if we loose to SHA. Players didn't play well, but mental positioning plus waiting for subs until the 88th was rediculous.
  7. Who gies first after tonight Houllier, Hodgson or Ancelotti
  8. Very good point, so much effort on the pitch, very proud of the way the whole team played. If i'm going to have one negative it is that after 70 minutes we really needed subs on (and more than just one) as quite a few players where nackered. If players had been subbed on earlier we might have held the win as the midfield were giving away the ball too easily. Still a cracking game.
  9. Now the crowd has turned, it will be hard to get them back with the games coming up. A loss at SHA in a few weeks and he's got no chance.
  10. Much like the Spurs team who couldn't win away from home. We really need another win soon, but my head says it won't be tomorrow, not a chance. I think the current Villa team has about as much confidence in themselves as I do. Hopefully going to be proven wrong.....
  11. Well on the positives Lichaj looked good and we did play some attacking football, but then you'd expect that against 10 men. But for me, the negatives were huge. So many long balls going nowhere, so many poor pasees and so mnay times looking like we had no idea what to do in the final third. We look like such a hollow team and after the first 30 minutes you could prety much guess what was coming next, hoof it over and hope someone is on the end of it. Worst bit was that when we did break through on the wings, so many times was there no-one to pass it to in the centre, so many static players. I can take loosing to the current Spurs side, though 10 men makes that hard to say, but I can't take the current performances on the field, with the dull unoriginal football being played.
  12. Feels like a must win, but I will leave that for the Wigan game Almost any other time I would say we she walk this, but to be quite honest, they are playing a lot better than us and so can see the points going there way. Saying that, im going for a 1-1 draw.
  13. If we manage to loose the next 2 games and so drop into the bottom 3, with the next 3 games coming up after that, i'm honestly not sure if we would get out.
  14. Gonna have to go with a home win, reckon 2-0 to them.
