It’s almost as if leaving water supply to an overseas entity legally obliged to extract profit might not be the best idea.

They will need to manage demand, so meters all around. One last run of increased profits before handing the franchise back as untenable.

Apparently just 6 tickets went on sale at 4pm and I know of STH’s that had a ticket in the basket but couldn’t proceed with the purchase because of an error message.

Luckily we’ve got tickets but I know a lot of mates have been left disappointed.

If that's true, I know one of the lucky 6.

He's being sued by the other founders which means he won't get them to agree to let him sell shares before IPO plus six months.

Also the SEC will investigate (if they aren't already) as this particular financial instrument (blank cheque company / SPAC) expects that the target of the acquisition is kept anonymous to isolate from insider trading. These instruments often lead to extensive legal action after IPO and they have fallen out of favour at least in part because of this.

Also, if Trump attempts to sell a chunk of his holding, the price will fall sharply so he'd never realise near this value. See Tesla share price when Musk sells shares.

Which suggests they know damn well putting boots on the ground and shooting Russian troops WOULD be a step too far, or they would have done it by now.

I'm not convinced their nuclear deterrent is actually functional any more. It doesn't need to be (and hasn't since we built to MAD). Nuclear weapons are bloody expensive to maintain.

Do the club have staff outside the turnstiles? Kind of like if you go to a gig, there will be a handful of staff members telling you to get your tickets/bags etc. ready for inspection. I always find that acts as a bit of a reminder to people to get themselves ready. It also helps people who are confused as they can ask for help away from the turnstile itself.

    Only the ones doing searches.

Clearly Musk is a huge bellend, but are people here trying to imply that SpaceX don’t know what they’re doing?

I like that Musk wasn't even present for this launch. He's leaving things to the engineers. I just wish the presenters wouldn't mislead people. You could see the fuel leak, both in the video stream and buy watching the graphic showing fuel levels. It was spinning throughout all the ballistic tests (you could see the shadows spinning around in the internal views. The same graphic showed that it was in wrong orientation (and spinning) during re-entry.

I think the engineers will consider the mission a success within their rapid prototyping methodology. It's all the marketing bollocks that annoys me.

Well, it go kaboom eventually, but it seems to have mostly worked well prior to that. And the board footage (especially during re-entry) was astonishing.

The booster failed to restart it's engines (again) and crashed into the sea at 2-3 times the speed of sound.

Starship developed a fuel leak shortly after separation and this caused an uncontrolled spin throughout the ballistic portion. Entry was completely uncontrolled and this led to some pretty colours as parts of the ship which weren't supposed to be exposed to atmospheric friction burnt up.

It was pretty much the most minimal improvement possible compared to the last launch, but the marketing spin is going well.

For the mobile wallet, you get your phone out, you unlock it, you open the thing on the phone where the ticket is, you open the ticket, you show it at the turnstile.

You get out your phone, look at it to unlock, tap the notification for the match ticket and hold the back of your phone to the reader. The gate clunks.

You can do it in a couple of seconds even while holding your bottle of pop with the lid hidden in your coat.

ANY discrimination is wrong. It can only lead to bad things. People should be treated equally.

How would you, as a business owner, quantify that you are treating people equally?

What if when quantifying this, you discovered that your business has not been treating people equally? How would you rectify this?

Him getting the loans/bonds from Saudi Arabia would make him compromised / a security threat in the eyes of the CIA right?

This particular bond would be for Trump Org, not Trump personally. He pretended the two things were different and separate during his presidency. He lied (obviously), while all meetings with foreign dignitaries has to take place it his venues and money / gifts / trade deals were given to other members of the crime family.

I'm hoping this gets bigger and bigger with trump. I think there will be multiple unknown loans or bonds against many assets which may come out. The other side worse case could be a secret loan from Putin

It will. He's still defaming E Jean Carroll. I suspect that will put off anyone wanting to lend money to someone with a record of not paying his debts.

Which is true in an ideal world. But in such large organisations, where your boss is getting hammered on quotas do you not think some people might just be looking out for themselves. And how does it work with one female and one black male. Is there some hierarchy.

Whichever quota you are most deficient in.
