Seems to me that this criticism is levelled at just about all our managers.

 

Getting players to win their individual battles would be something and not expect your colleague to come and bail you out....that in itself can alter your shape and leave holes.

 

Creating a team that function with method is another element.

 

Round pegs in round holes and square pegs in square holes is another thing to get right.

 

too many samey players, there needs to be a balance of capability in the side. i.e 3 technical directors and no sales director ain't very good in the boardroom.

 

We have struggled with full backs for years ( Kenny swain & John Gidman is the quality we used to have) a good defensive midfielder has been lacking for yonks.

 

This sort of stuff has been going on for far too long.....poor decision making and procrastination.
