It's quite refreshingly difficult to play, the quests you embark on are invariably half a map away and getting to them becomes a big part of the challenge. There's also a distinct lack of hand holding, which can frustrate some players, but I quite like it. The art design is pretty standard fantasy fare, but I've been impressed with the look of the 'larger' enemies you come across. The 'Pawn' system is interesting too, allowing you to be accompanied by player created avatars. Combat-wise is where it really shines for me though. Once you get to grips with it, it's very satisfying. All in all, it's a worthwhile experience. I'm definitely aiming to complete it at some point in the near future.
