Jon
"He's set in his ways ..... I felt he needed a new challenge" Did it ever cross your mind to give him a new challenge? Isn't that what coaches are for? To make sure players don't go stale and are always on their toes? I have serious worries about a coaching staff who have effectively given up on not one but two England international strilkers. Jimbo - I think "He's stale/set in his ways/new challenge required" is basically manager speak for saying "sorry folks, but i just don't really rate him. He's never really done it for me whilst i've been here and he doesn't score enough". But DOL's not going to say that, for obvious reasons. Both of Options 1 and 3 Totally agree Pete. Or at least i hope i agree. We'll have to see if Mr Baros is incoming in the next few days. 8)
