  1. As I said to Gareth (virtually! Shame the VT meetup didn't happen, next year I'd really try and get there earlier and leave later) it was the quickest 6 hours of my life I think, great entertainment from start to finish.

Next show for me will probably be Royal Quest 3 at the Copper Box in October, great great arena for wrestling. In a parellel to the All Out event, it takes place just a few days after Dominion though, which itself is a big show in Japan. No clue what the card will be yet, but it'll be worth going just to see Gabe Kidd acting like an utter mad man.

    Oh no please show me

Im gonna start making my way down now

Can't find an easily linkable thing...but there's a kind of canopy above the ring which looks to be maybe 10-20m above it...screens and that on all four sides, if you're mid or upper tier you probably won't see the ring?

  3. Finally got my e tickets delivered! Didn't feel right to me, sorting transport before actually having a ticket...but there you go.

Really looking forward to it! I'll actually be drinking in Cov early afternoon before jumping on the coach, so in the highly unlikely event that there's another VTer in Cov and they're going to All In...no?

    😅

  4. I see doors are confirmed as 3.30, my coach gets in at 4, so I guess I'll miss pre drinks...but possibly good for post drinks as the departure time is pretty generous assuming they stick to curfew which they...will have to?

Washed my Jun Kasai shirt today in preparation!

Same here. Especially when hes doing something daft.

I am also one of those Overcooked players who grabs the fire extinguisher, sets it off, and spins around in circles for no apparent reason.

  6. O B L I G A T O R Y

Short version, it looks better on PS5 (using the default FSR2 over FXAA) with this re-released version than the backwards compatibility on Series X. There are no updates to textures, most of the poor quality art, and it runs at 30fps.

  7. Oh, and looking like I'll be getting the coach down as well as back after all. NX want to charge the same price for the single journey back from Wembley, as they do for the return journey! So I won't get to Wembley until 4pm, and I guess doors will already be open by then.

Just hope I have time to get a Blcksmth United Empire shirt :( assuming they have a stall somewhere

Doesnt it seem odd that thwy doing two ppvs so close together?

My take on it is that there is a gap in the Wembley scheduling, there was availability of workers and crew, and the Visa's weren't an issue...and ultimately Tony Khan wanted it to happen asap to get one over WWE which will more than likely break the All In attendance with a London Wrestlemania.

Whether you think that was worth it for a booking head ache...eh. For me, probably not.

As for the All In card, I'm not bowled over, but it's fine. I seen a fair few complaints about the 6 man featuring Kenny, but that's actually my most hyped match as I'm a more regular viewer of NJPW than AEW, and there is a loooot of Bullet Club history in that match.

Got my stuff through this morning. Why would front row A2 be restricted view?

I've sat in seats sold as restricted view a view times over the years. Usually I kind of had to duck and weave a bit to see past the bars so I could fully view certain sections of the pitch.

But then, I am short. If you're tall, like really tall, a giant perhaps...you'll be alright.

  10. Had my seat moved from R1 to A7, something to do with a security certificate. Not complaining, just commenting. I was right at the front, I guess they've partly closed the section?

  11. In his post match comments following the Ospreay v Naito G1 semi final yesterday, Will revealed that he has renounced the US title won from Kenny, and has re-christened it the UK title.

It was always going to be the case that the build for his match at All In couldn't start until after thr G1 was done, but I just wonder where this is going.

This will be my last post on this site as it is now impossible to display an opinion or be contradictory in any way to the club without being belittled.

Everything is brilliant and the club will never get anything wrong every again or do something someone might actually not agree with.

    Brilliant.

    End football.

Sixer, Sixer, you got a Sixer, Sixer, Sixer Whheeeeeeeyyyyyyyy

Need to get that pre-show VT meetup sorted!  Who's gonna be going?

Where & when is this happening?

I'll be getting the train down in the morning and getting the coach back by the looks of it. I could do the coach both ways, but it doesn't get to Wembley until 3pm.

    Does anyone else play FFXIV?

I played for a couple of years on and off, but that was back on the PS3 up to 2.5, I think? Never did go back to play Heavensward or anything since, although I did try to progress through the MSQs around the time Shadowbringers was released.

I'm just not a massive fan of MMOs. I know the story is very well thought of, and there are some gameplay easements to allow you to progress through the story quickly and get up to date with Endwalker...but I just can't find the motivation.

Perhaps when I get to that stage in my FF series sequential playthrough!

Shows how bad the state of wrestling is

I think it's indicative of American wrestling booking in general. It's just kind of normal to get 'legends' to turn up in some capacity, even if it's not a match, maybe they take a bump from a heel for some storyline heat or something.

I don't really like it either. Perhaps it's a symptom of the success of the Attitude era, where there was always a factor of "you'll never guess who has returned / who has debuted!" which I can vividly recall being very cool...as a 14 year old kid.

A lot of the bookers now either learnt their trade, so to speak, at that time...or they're still the same people!
