i think that Kev Mac will have 2 more matches to prove he can hack it as the main man if we beat vienna and draw or beat everton i think he will be offered the job. but if we fail to beat rapid or lose to everton i think bob bradley will be packing his suitcase and be heading to VP.

i dont agree withpeople who say that villa will now never win or challenge for the title ever again because at the end of the day crazy things can happen in football especially in todays football. look how far we came in 4 years for example lets picture where villa could be in thirty years time. you cant tell me that we will never challenge for the title in that 30 years because things can happen one day an exceedingly rich man may offer randy a price he cant turn down and we could do a many city. one of the top 4 could eventually drop down the table and no longer be a premier league giant. When fergie retires from man utd, manutd could then become a very poor team. or matbe in 30 years villa could be playing in league 3 from going into liquidation losing all its players and having no decent manager/owner. so you cant tell me the dream is dead when in this day and age one week can change the face of a club forever.

i do to i think that he has had talks with villa and they were promising because he obviously is gunna gunna be a yes man so he has now openly declared he would like to manage villa any other time he has expressed intrest its never been in villa his intrest was europe.

paulo Bento is now someone i would like to see at the club managed sporting lisbon for 4 years and did a good job there alex ferguson wanted him as his right hand man and this guy is currently unemployed.

lol his full name is paulo jorge bento gomes never heard of him until 5 mins ago when i was doing a bit of research recently resigned as sporting lisbon boss and did a pretty good job with them. just another name to throw into the hat really

oh yeah just done some research on paulo bento and found out he is currently unemployed he was a youth coach for sporting lisbon and then got promoted to manager and no one had faith in him due to his inexperience but in 4-5 years at the club he has won a fair bit with them and got them champions league football. never heard of him before but it looks like he could do the job.

i respect your opinion but the comparison of amercan football to english/european football is quite different in style of play, transfer policies and i just think bob would end up bringing in reallly dodgey players. and judging on this display being completley demolished by newcastle is not good. and i think randy will now really crack on with getting in a new man now.

He has spent most his life in america and has little knowledge of europe i think he is a good man manager but so is kev mac i just think we would be better off with someone else.

i saw this coming a mile away lets face it going back to newcastle on their first home game of the season tht is a difficult place to go and lets be honest the maggpie fans aren't the greatest fans in the world more like the most deluded and annoying fans ever. the second that we missed that penalty was the second that game was turned upside down. dont really want kevin mac on a perm but would rather have him than bradley i will be disgusted with randy if he hires him.

i feel kev mac is doing a good job for villa so far but he has only had two games for us and i feel we need a big name at aston villa i really do think it helps. Jol- would be a perfect fit for us because lers face it he is a good manager he could bring some exciting players and football to the club and it was jol's tottenham side which qualified for CL. Klinsman- would also be half decent manager and it appears that randy is a fan i definatly think he would get the best out our players.

it was a disgrace and the UEFA should do something bout this i dont think we should give the rapid players or fans a friendly welcome next week. on the other hand we got a result that was decent enough to bring back to villa park was a bit dull in places but it is so frustrating watching heskey play.
