meh.
Everyone should **** their current browser off, and install the mighty EMINEM BROWSER
Its what the internet was made for!
-
i still think IE is faster.
it certainly is on my PC.
These firexox plugins seem interesting though. How do you install them?
-
IE6.
I have Firefox and Opera installed on my PC too, but i never really feel the need to use them.
I think IE7 is due out within the next month or so.

Hence the mass exodus to this very site?
They were the reasons my good self, Bicks, Paddy, Ahamaad, ED and Juju (and probably others who's names escape me) all scarpered.
Admittedly, it was more to do with the, *ahem* older members of the moderating team, but it was there. It was bitched about for months and nothing was ever done.
Praise be for Italy, thats all i can say.
-
Yeah, but the biggest "them and us" divide between mods and everybody else exists on the O/S Denjo.
-
anyone can post a new rogues gallery - as I cannot find the old one!
Also anyone wanting a beer in London on a Tuesday drop me a PM as I'm always in London on Tuesday nights :-(
Where abouts in London Lancs?
Oh, and rogues gallery people. You can see a grainy picture of me on the Audioscrobbler link in my sig.

Got pissed with Bicks at a Black Rebel gig a couple of years ago.
He bought me a pint (or three), and watched me lust after half the females in the room.
As those were the O/S days, ill also say ive met Welsh Chris (for those who know him) several times at Villa Park. Ive sat next to Pilch at a game, and not realised it until i was on the forum the next day, and ive seen Anna and her sister too.
But from VT, and away from Villa Park, its just one. Bicks.

7-8
The hours do my nut in sometimes, but i enjoy the nature of the work, and the money and security are as good as i can hope for.
And it might be a good idea to say what you actually do for a living in this thread.
Me? Im a train driver.

Ive voted "no" but that doesnt stop me loading up Newsnow every 5 mins of the day!
I've still not been convinced enough to shell out for a season ticket, and have lost my regular slot.
A quality 5-7m signing will push me into getting one tbh.
That Crouch fella from Southampton is available at £7m.

Always were?
Like ****.
They were one of the best bands on gods earth between 94-96.

whoever voted for the Stones is both wrong, and a word removed.

On mine?
Well, music stands at about 55gb
TV shows downloaded from UKnova is about 30gb
Games, probably another 40gb (Steam/Half Life 2 is 8gb on its own!)
Dunno what the rest is full of, but its getting full!
you can get a decent quality 200gb hard drive for about £60 these days, which is very cheap inst it?
-
my 200gb hard drive is getting very full, so i am thinking of doubling my capacity soon. Wondered what the average on here was...

I do that one every close season on there.
This is the 3rd year in a row!
-
And one i start every year on the official boreds:
-
Sorry, i thought it was ten years ago for a second!

And two Communists, both as bad as each other. Evil
I dont know.
Nazi's killed six million people. Commies beleive in an idea that works in theory but not in practace.
Id say Nazi's are more evil.

in light of the picket line thread..
-
Striking a disgusting, especially in public sectors, where the general public have to suffer!! If you don't like your job, find another one like the rest of the country do!
Well, yes and no.
The "general public have to suffer" thing is also a line that the managment will use to attempt to emotionally blackmail staff.
Ive only ever been involved in one strike ballot (and i voted against the strike) which incidently, never happened. And that excuse was used against us. People should have the right to demand improved terms and conditions. People should have the right to withdraw labour. If that wasnt the case, a lot of us would still be working in victorian style sweatshops. Maybe services had to suffer to get us out of these sweatshops.
Its about balance. If you have serious concerns about the way your job is going, then you should have the right to do something about it. We shouldnt be like the French though, who seem to go on strike if they dont like the colour of the new carpet in the office!

The Playstation 3 is quite new, apparently...
-
Assuming it is, like todays was.

I still think Moyles is in the same boat contractually as Paxman.
Personally, i wouldnt have crossed the picket line if i had been him, but then i work in a highly unionised industry (i think the union im in, ASLEF has an almost 100% membership rate)
-
Ok, the BBC have been on strike today. Some 11,000 of their staff are taking action it seems.
Now im not sure what unions are involved , but i think its more than one.
Anyway, they have had a picket line outside of BBC buildings throughout Britain, and the actions of two of the most high profile employees were very different.
Chris Moyles crossed the picket line.
Jeremey Paxman refused to.

Woman goes to the Doctor and says, "Doctor my vagina keeps singing". The Doctor replies, "Really? Can you tell what it's singing?"
The woman says, "Yes, it sings 'Amarillo' all the time".
The Doctor says, " It's OK every other word removed in Britain is singing that at the moment"

Im quickly becoming converted!
Standard IE6 vs Standard Firefox is a (narrow) winner for IE every time, if you ask me.
But once you start playing with some of the add ons you get with Firefox, then IE just gets left behind.
I might have to retract my vote for IE.
