  1. Rubbish. Injuries or not, the players now look and play like they don't give a shit. Poor results are acceptable if the players are busting a gut and doing their best, but Houllier seems to have no ability to motivate them whatsoever. I'm doubting it would be much better with a full strength team available. GH is past it and still seems to wish he was Liverpool manager. I think Randy would be mad to give him money to spend in January. See how we go next season? Might be too late by then. Cut our losses and get Jol now, before we're truly ****. We're just lucky that Wigan, West Ham and Wolves are so awful, but right now we're really not much better. Still, at least people might start to appreciate that MON - for all his obvious faults - is actually a bloody good manager. I agree with most of your post but MON was not a good manager. If he was then the team would not have fallen apart so quickly. A good manager builds something to last not something for the now.
  2. Injuries lead to a dip in performances. Not a week in week out capitualtion Well said. Some fans hide behind the excuse of injuries but all they are doing is denying reality.
  3. Sod it. I should have gone to the bookies sooner!!
  4. The excuse of injuries is getting as lame as the performances.
  5. Oh yeah good one, that will really help the players , just what we need...moron. Anyway, those calling for Houllier to be sacked are idiots, we have many players out and he hasn't had a chance to bolster the squad yet. Hogg, Ireland, Delfouneso and Downing were the only half decent Villa performances tonight... Is the moron here the moron who cannot respond to a post without calling the poster a moron? Mmmm! In a local derby at home you want the fans to turn on the board/players/manager. No I think it is you thats the moron pal... Read the post properly if you are capable.

  7. Against the baggies on Saturday the fans have to use their voices to let Lerner and Houllier know that we are seriously pissed off. The time has come to voice our opinion. If it is left until later in the season then it could well be too late.
  8. I would like to vote for my cock as man of the match. It had a piss at half time and that was the best Villa move of the game. I have just witnessed a team with relegation written all over it. I don't want to see any fans using the excuse that we have injuries. That is becoming as lame as the performances. I have seen Villa relegated numerous times before and this ranks as one of the worst teams I have witnessed put on the Villa shirt. Unless Lerner opens his cheque book in January to let out some money as well as the moths that have been living in there for quite some time then we might as well start getting the road atlas out for trips to Doncaster and Scunthorpe in the fizzy pop league.
  9. What I can see on the Youtube video is a pile of morons with the IQ of pond life running on the pitch to have a go at another pile of morons with the IQ of pond life in the away stand. However, this second set of morons with the IQ of pond life were surrounded by innocent football supporters who did not deserve to be subjected to the antics of morons with the IQ of pond life. I suspect that this was also the case outside the ground before and after the match. I also saw Birmingham City FC stewards wandering around aimlessly doing absolutely nothing so what is the point of them being there. They were supported by West Midlands Police who did nothing to prevent the violence and arrested only a handful of morons with the IQ of pondlife. What a wonderful world we live in. I am so glad we lost the World Cup bid. The rest of the world should not have to see the actions of morons with the IQ of pondlife.
  10. Friedel, L Young, Dunne, Collins, Warnock, A Young, Clark, Hogg, Bannan, Downing, Agbonlahor.
  11. Never in the field of football conflict was so much owed by so few to so many. Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. We shall never be underdogs to SHA.
  12. If you are going to the sty the gates are open at 6 and to keep fans warm the noses are selling a hot drink and a chocolate bar for £2 in all catering kiosks. Wow!!
  13. Manure are beating Blackburn (the wonderful team we lost to last weeK) 6-0.
  14. Jeckyl and Hyde performance between that against Manure and that given today.
  15. Baggies winning too and against ten men. Were **** then!!
  16. All the best teams have a strong centre midfield. We have not got that and that is where we are losing it.
  17. Man United...Blackpool we didn't play well but deserved to win. Fulham, deserved to win and had the chances too. Was 20 seconds away. Chelsea, had several great chances. Tottenham, were excellent on the break and I think we could have won had Heskey not been injured early on. Can't get anywhere on 'might have beens'. Man Utd = we didn't win, Blackpool = we won but we were lucky and they were better, Fulham = we didn't win, Chelsea = we didn't win, Tottenham = we didn't win. Of all the games mentioned we only won 1.
  18. The only league game we have looked like winning this season was the first game against wet spam. The rest have been fingers crossed and a prayer.
  19. Agree with all of this. Thought Downing was very very good again. Ireland's touch in about the second minute showed what a player he could be if he could be arsed, which he couldn't. Lost count of the number of times Blackburn went on the break because SI didn't feel like making a challenge. I thought Hogg had a decent enough game, but you can't see him ever making the match-winning pass to beat Barcelona (If we were ever to play them ) Dunne had his first decent game for a while. I didn't see the smile at the end, but not impressed with that, because overall: This was the least-enjoyable game of football I have ever watched, ever. With the possible exception of the Newcastle game. No surely not, what about the games against Stoke, SHA, Fulham, Bolton, Sunderland? All shit teams that we failed to beat and not very enjoyabble to watch.
  20. Because we actually played well against them? It's not so much we play well against the footballing sides, it's that we struggle to get results against the physical teams. Well we struggle to get points against teams who play football! Well said, we struggle to get points full stop!!
  21. Watching Fulham V Man Citeh at min. Fulham really are shit and we couldn't even beat them.
  22. Watching Fulham V Man Citeh at min. Fulham really are shit and we couldn't even beat them.
  23. Somewhere that doesn't really matter. About where our squad deserve to be.
