  1. Cheers Rev. Do you know if it is away fan friendly, or does it even matter?

Anyone interested in meeting up in The Bootlegger (or elsewhere in Wycombe) beforehand? I'm heading up on my own - would be good to meet some friendly, if not familiar, faces.

According to the Twitter account for Villa match day policing (@WMPVillaFC) all pubs are away friendly and Wycombe are putting on a marquee outside the ground selling alcohol for away fans.

FWIW I had the opportunity to meet the Wycombe chairman a few weeks ago - top bloke who was delighted that PL was returning - they're planning on it being an "appreciation" game of sorts for him.

Anyway to get back to topic my brother is coming on the train and I'll be meeting him at Wycombe station so will probably tag onto other fans off the train

  2. There is a decent boozer directly opposite the station or you can go down the hill from the station, turn right and you are in town. The ground is quite a way from the town centre, taxi or bus is certainly the way to go.

    Which pubs that?

  3. I'll be drinking in Wycombe beforehand I would think. Unfortunately Wycombe is very hilly (for those who've never been here) so walking from the station is a nightmare. Bus is probably your best bet

  4. FWIW the online system is displaying some people's histories wrongly - I had to phone to get mine. Really looking forward to it, especially since I moved to just outside Wycombe last September

  5. So much for that theory of 2000 SHA fans going up or whatever that ridiculous rumour was.

Unless they're willing to risk their benefit money on a train ticket without a match ticket

  6. Contact the healthcare worker/team/police & say that you are concerned about a vulnerable adult. Those two words should trigger an investigation so make sure as others have said that you make notes etc that can be used in the investigation

  7.

    Who is from Greater Manchester.

Well as Manure fans don't come from Manchester it's looking good for us to give them a spanking!

PS I am working in Sunderland for a few days and will be watching the game on TV with a Sunderland fan!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yep, theres a 90% chance he's a blue.

FWIW Wikipedia says he's an Altrincham fan, from this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/9682535/Norwich-City-v-Manchester-United-live.html

  8. Played an hour of Undead Nightmare just now (I got bored of cougar hunting, I'll leave that for saturday night, wheyooooo)

I LOVE it. Really love it, in fact. The atmosphere more than anything, but it's great.

The lack of ammo is annoying me a bit, but apart from that I can't wait to play some more.

Best DLC I've played for any game. After reading this thread I started a new game of RDR after forgetting that I'd completed it (can't remember how the story ends) and also finished the Undead Nightmare story.

    You're in for a treat and I can't say I'm not jealous
