Can hardly speak a word of English and was a bit of a dick--no surprises there.
In that case, it's a perfect opportunity for the tattooist to ink "I'm a bit of a dick" on him, and tell him it says "Master of the universe".

Is it too soon to petition the board for an Unai Emery statue
We have an absolute, unrivaled, "A" list of supporters, including the future King of England and the reigning Prince of Darkness, do we need any more reason for a statue of Unai.
In reality, It's a bit of a fun question, but there has to be 100 reasons, and who knows, maybe the board will like one of them enough to do it.
Serious answer: it's still too soon.
Only when we've won a major trophy with him.
Until then, he's behind Saunders and Barton in the Villa hall of fame.

How is this man so good at it his job, yet so humble and kind?
you see all the other “elite” managers and it’s mostly arrogant personality monsters, doing brand deals in their spare time. Then there’s Unai, a mild mannered man that loves his job and has tea with his injured players in his spare time.
This. Most football managers - even the good ones - are either arrogant blowhards or petulant whiners. Very rarely do you get one who is a true gentleman. Bobby Robson was probably the last one of note.
Unai is a gentleman. But a laser-focused one.

Maybe JPA should have a quiet word with him.

Depends whether we're talking rivalry or hatred.
There's no 'rivalry' as such between Villa and sha. Or Villa and (snigger) Coventry.
But in each case, the lesser clubs bitterly hate us.

Leeds fans will be down in London the same weekend as Manchester City and United fans will be there for the FA Cup final.
Leeds and ManUre have previous.

Seeing him in about 10 hours, would be great to get this one or Visions of Johanna
I was a big fan of The Soft Boys. Saw them in a club in the early 80s. Hitchcock is (like me) a huge Dylan fan.

I did ponder that he must be a time traveller and he'd come from the 80's purely to do his weekly 'big shop'. Never seen him since.
He probably died from shock when he realised he couldn't do his Big Shop with twenty quid.

I've got a specific credit card for online purchases.
So have I. It's linked to my GP and PP accounts. Don't even need to remember the three digit security code.

My last Partscaster was more like Partsdisaster.
That's why I wouldn't attempt it. I'd wreck a guitar and hate myself.

Well, any good player at Villa needs to leave for A Big Club like Chelsea, where they can become a superstar - just ask Carney Chukwumeka.
Oh wait.

Makes me want to do a DIY parts-caster.
I'm slightly envious of people who can do guitar mods/builds. I wouldn't even attempt it.

Just as bad...
Would you like to pay by Apple Pay? No.
How about Paypal? No.
Maybe a direct debit? No.
Add credit to your account? NO
Visa debit super secure special account? NOOO.
Let me just type in my credit card details and pay you spunkwaffle.
I'm the opposite. If it ain't Google Pay or PayPal, I'm probably not buying.

Unless they chose the 'music' - in which case, sack them.
ECL theme would have been the icing on the cake.

If he's smart and patient, he should want to stay at Villa as Ollie's understudy and learn from Emery.
There's the problem.

The whole thing would be so much better if they just said what they see instead of worrying about making their mate look poor.
How long before they do away with human judgement entirely, and let AI run it?

Not a genre I have much love for, but I thought I'd try and think of one that I like. Nothing coming to mind so far.
Maybe Indiana Jones at a pinch.

We were having this same debate on one of my WhatsApp groups, and agreed that it was, as one of my mates put it, "L666ds vs everyone".
