I don’t think this ever actually happened: I’ve been to Europe loads of times since Brexit and never got a stamp once.

You may have problems then. If you don’t get an exit stamp then you’ve no proof when you left. Then the 90 day limit becomes awkward. I got held up along with a few others in Greece a while back. It only takes one officious prick to stop you entering, and boy did I meet one. Took 2 hours and a lot of arguing with him before someone senior to him allowed us in. F****ing Brexit bollocks.

Do you really think we can play the same 11 players every single game for the rest of the season and only have Diaby and digne currently as the only reliable rotation options and win both the conference and finish top 4. Some people need to have a serious reality check.

Glass half empty guy then eh. We’re playing Ajax. f****g brilliant. The reality is…..we’re back. Enjoy it, revel in it, celebrate it. That’s the reality of it.😊😊😊.

  3. Recent polling, indicates that the electorate are turning away from tax cuts in favour of increased public spending. That gives me hope that this country is finding its soul again. It’s also hopefully, going to sound the death knell for the Party that.knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing. General Election can’t come soon enough.

The last couple of by elections which Labour have won, they’ve actually aggregated less votes than when they lost. It was the collapse of the tory vote wot won it.

Now, they are by elections. But for all the scandal, nobody switched to Labour (in crude terms).

That doesn’t mean Labour won’t have a massive majority in Westminster, it’s just not quite the ringing endorsement it might first appear to be.

The turnout at the recent by elections has been in line with historic by election turnouts. There is absolutely no evidence that those that didn’t vote are shy Tories, non at all. Just as likely that given Labour were expected to win, that Labour voters also thought their vote wasn’t needed. The result, a huge swing to Labour, is most definitely a ringing endorsement.

It will cost much more than that by the time it's completed. You are also not factoring in construction price inflation. Realistically to buy a suitable site & build a 60K seater stadium in or around birmingham then you would need ~£1.5 - £2 billion budget. The sale of Villa park probably isn't going to generate much income either in the grand scheme of things. You'd need owners willing to spend £500m on it on the assumption they would probably never see a return on that money.

So a new stadium in Birmingham would in your opinion cost double what a fabulous state of the art stadium in North London cost. Unless you can back that up with actual costings, then I think your miles off mark.

I think it is a pipedream. You are talking around ~£2 billion to buy a site and build a stadium somewhere in or around Birmingham. It would have to be multi-use and even then the feasibility of it would be questionable at best. I can't see our owner(s) stumping up that kind of money.

2 Billion ? Nothing like that. Spurs new stadium cost 1 billion, and that’s with London prices. Everton’s new stadium would be a better comparison, and that cost £500 million.

Agreed but I'm faced with a party I hate and will never vote for (Tories), a party I distrust but do not cross my red lines (LibDems - EU/PR) and a party I've voted for most of the time but do cross my two policy red lines (Labour) It’s a tough choice.

Also I'm particularly wary of the size of majority Labour will get which I think is also very dangerous.

Its really a three turd choice

Well I’m a member of the Labour Party, so obviously I disagree. For what it’s worth,  the Labour Party for me is the only real hope for the next generation, I speak as a Grandad too. If I look at the individuals in both main parties, then it’s a laughably one sided contest. My wife was an active helper in the Erdington By election last year. She got to meet a lot of big hitters, including Starmer, Rainer etc. She found them all to be pretty impressive in their desire to do what’s right for the country. She was very impressed by shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves. I hope she’s right, she’ll have a massive task in front of her.

  8. Many religions  have at some stage in their history advocated Violence against non believers, be it a jihad or a crusade. Most have though, adapted their teachings to more reflect the modern world we live in now. Islam alone seems stuck in a medieval mindset. Time they had a rethink on some of their more rigid teachings.
