I'll admit I havent seen much of Bradley since the Junior Witter fight, but I thought Bradley was somewhat fortunate to beat Witter that night.
Really? I thought he won it clearly and it shouldn't have been a SD.
-
I scored it 114-112 to Khan, if i was the Referee though i might have stopped it in the 10th, he took a right beating but the way he came back in the 11th was class. His chin is obviously not as bad as everybody thought because of the Prescott fight. How does everyone think that Hatton in his prime would do against the likes of Khan, Alexander, Bradley and Maidana??
If it had been stopped in the 10th it would have been a little premature but it wouldn't have been the worst stoppage of the night. It wasn't just the Prescott fight that had given Khan the glass jaw label. He had been put on queer street by non-puncher Willie Limond and super-featherweight Michael Gomez.
I'd have Hatton beating Alexander, Khan and Maidana. I'm less certain about Tim Bradley. It's hard to say yet though because I don't think we have seen the best of Khan, Alexander, Maidana or Bradley yet.

I had it 113-112 to Khan. His chin has certainly improved and I think a lot of credit has got to go to Alex Ariza for that (no, I'm not suggesting anything) and also he now knows how to cover up and get on his bike after taking a big shot.
Yep, that's pretty much what I said, only worded differently
Should be a rematch though, that point deduction had an impact if your scorecard is correct.
Pretty much
I'd love to see a rematch and Maidana definitely deserves one but I really can't imagine GBP will ever fight a puncher like him without needing to. Rumour is Zab Judah over here in March and then a unification against the winner of Bradley vs Alexander (Bradley :winkold: ). Pretty shit match up against Judah but can't complain after he has just fought Maidana and has a unification lined up for after.
Joe Cortez is useless... nothing new there.

Awful awful stoppage, bookies fix in there somewhere.
You shouldn't be so cynical.
Warren fighter in his hometown.
-
Parris has gone but his legacy remains. Terrible stoppage.
-
Bellew fight is a cracker so far.

Fantastic performance by DeGale. As you say, he will certainly be on the map now. I don't think there is any way we will see him in with George Groves any time soon after that performance.
-
Six rounds in and Smith already need a KO for me. I cant see him winning any round on points, DeGale is streets ahead in terms of talent.
I think he might start chasing it and I can see DeGale finishing it late on. We'll see...
-
He's doing the much more eyecatching work for me. It will be interesting to see how much of an effect the home advantage will have.
At the moment Smith just can't handle the DeGale jab.
-
Ringwalks now!

Cleverly UD. That was a pretty terrible spectacle. Clev reminds me of Paul Williams but without the work rate.
Bring on the Smith-DeGale fight!
-
This is Dave Parris' last fight as a ref.
-
Cleverly fight is awful at the moment. Looks like it will go the distance so expect to see DeGale out around 11:20.
-
has james degale fought yet if not what time is he fighting
No, it's on after the Cleverly fight which is on now.
-
There's a rumour going round that Cleverly has a Maths degree...
-
Cleverly up next.
His opponent is quite the character from what I've saw.

WWE?
I posted that yesterday mate. :winkold:
Macklin looked poor there. Varon is nothing special but was able to back Macklin up at will. Macklin was exposed on the inside at times and his stamina is something that will catch up with him at a higher level. I think he has reached his level.
-
What's the deal with this Macklin ? Is he Villa or Blues ? (If any ?)
He's a nose. He doesn't mention it much though, seems happier being a plastic paddy.
-
Kotey was **** awful.
Was a replacement tbf but Frank should still be putting better fighters in front of him than that.

Some footage from Belgium tonight:
Not quite Cintron-Williams, but close. -
I watched the weigh-in today live on SkySports news and based purely on that I'm looking forward to the the Degale fight the most !
I don't believe that there is any bad blood between the 2 of them. DeGale used to room with Paul's brother Stephen back in their Amateur days and has said that they were very good friends. I think DeGale even stayed in the Smith household for a while. Saying that I still think it will be a good fight, the best of the Liverpool bill. While DeGale is the clear favourite he will be going into the lion's den and will be up against much more experienced fighter.

Amir Khan and Marcos Maidana successfully made weight for their junior welterweight title fight Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Khan came in at the divisional limit of 140 lb, while Maidana was slightly lighter at 139 lb.
Everyone weighed in for the Liverpool card as well.

Hopkins knocked down in the 1st and 3rd but sweeps the second half of the fight to get a draw against Pascal. I had Hopkins up and Bernard is absolutely fuming.
