Surely it is their own fault for letting a keeper go out on loan? You can't let people go out on loan and then moan you don't have a goalkeeper :s

I'd like to see this. Was hoping we would change to this formation about 60 minutes through the match today. I would however take Downing out for Reo Coker and put Gabby right wing, Ash on the left and Gabby on the right with Carew up front.

I think this would be a perfect game for Reo-coker. Pack another man in midfield to stop Hull passing it around and get a bit more power in.

A bit complexed. From reading a couple of pages on this thread you would think we had played badly that first half? I thought we looked very good going forward. Very good. I think our defending looks a bit shoddy though.

Did anybody see when Milner had a threw in and threw it straight at Mikel's (i think) back? Thought it was quite quick thinking and made me chuckle!

It was a great feeling wasn't it. I've never seen so many Villa fans from all different parts of the ground singing in tandom. It was surreal

cheers for that mate, certainly a relief, will get the 10:52 down and the 21:52 back from wembley or the 22:00 back from marylebone depending on what i do after the game THE INFORMATION ON THIS LINK IS NOT CORRECT. I SPOKE TO THEM THIS EVENING AND THE LAST TRAIN IS 8.00PM FROM LONDON. THE 10.00PM TRAIN VANISHED FROM THE ONLINE TIMETABLE YESTERDAY. Im going to be coming and going back to Banbury and it looks to me like there are lots of trains back after 8 :? but I'm not very good at reading time tables.

Also thought delph had a pretty good game. Thought we would struggle in any game if Milner didn't start. Glad I was wrong!!

Bolton never really had a real chance and I think we controlled the match although we didn't have many proper chances either. A good point but I wouldn't go over the top about the performance. Lets get some momentum going

Apart from driving the only sensible cheapest way of getting there looks to be official travel. Can you park at Villa Park on the day and is there usually plenty of parking?

What you say about the match today and MON deserving the criticsm i think is totally correct. What you say about O'Neill being sacked i disagree with. This is the first year with O'Neill that we haven't made progress. Nore have we declined in our performances. Having got us to a top 4 challenging team for 2 consecutive years is an achievement considering four years ago we were 16th in the league. We all want success and it doesn't come immediately. Some of his managerial decisions and tactics are up for discussion but I think we just need to look at the picture on the whole.
