Not for the want of being negative in the face of good news, but I'd actually say the club have handled this deal atrociously. If anything, we should be paying £500k less than the fee accepted in January, not £500k more. At least it looks like it's getting done. I hope he isn't the only winger to arrive, but I've a feeling he will be.

I wouldn't disagree with that, but at the same time I think he's worth more than 10m aswell......in today's market, compared with other transfers this Summer I'd value him nearer to 15/16m. So I still think we've signed a bloody good player at a decent price.

We had our 20 week scan yesterday, and found out we're having a baby girl. Just an incredible feeling that I can't really describe. Last night in bed I was trying to imagine how the next 20 years of my life would pan out with a daughter......amazing.

Why though? they accepted £9mil from sha in January, his contract is now shorter and he did very little in those six months to justify a hike in transfer fee's

To be fair, he did score a fair few goals in Wigan's run in last season (5 in 6, something like that?).....undeniably the key player that kept them in the Premier League - think he probably has justified the rise in value.
