The Snyder Cut of Justice League is going to be released. Next year. On HBO's new streaming service.
I'm not convinced Snyder's vision is going to save that film, but it is true that what Whedon released as a rescue job was a complete dogs dinner that was so crap he actually puts a mildly hidden apology in the opening credits. I'd hope Snyder can put together something that was at least less shit than that. It's likely we'll get to see Darkseid and maybe they'll roll back the awful take on Steppenwolf...
I’m interested to see it. It’s around 3 1/2 hours long apparently and he’s been given a budget to finish it ahead of its release next year. I read an article on it the other day and it sounds like a radically different film.

Thank you. For years as a kid reading American comics I desperately wanted to try root beer. When I finally got to the US and tried some, I spat it out after the first mouthful - it was rank. What a let-down.
Same here, tried it the first time I went to Florida a few years back and thought they’d left cleaning fluid in the dispenser!

I was hammered last night and there were no munchies about, so I ate 2/3 of a jar of peanut butter, with New York BBQ sauce.

Businesses are so dumb. They hardly ever look past what is looking at them in the face. During a time of emergency it is possible to get less people to do more as they bust a gut for the greater good. These same people will be looking down the road to the point that they get some relief, it won't be a sustainable workload over the long term in most cases. If the reward for busting a gut during an emergency is that the business decides to make that the new normal then all you get is a massive amount of resentment. I bet you a pound to a penny that the new normal will not come with a pay rise either.
My firm has been pretty good so far, they haven’t furloughed anybody or announced any redundancies as yet.
It’s pretty unusual as they are normally absolutely hopeless in difficult times and are basically the corporate version of the Tories - their only answer is austerity. The story goes that the only reason we’ve all been kept on, is because we are owned by a massive bank and the bank are worried about the fallout if they get rid.
We’ve already been told there is no pay rise and commission schemes are being looked at, so it won’t be long before they start trying to clawback the ‘goodwill’ they have shown us by turning the screw.
I am grateful to have remained in post and on full pay, but I’m not naive enough to know it’s going to come at a price.- 1

Dont judge me too harshly but Extraction - Netflix. Absolutely brain dead story line but fantastic action sequences if you like that sort of thing. Hemsworth is really good in it
It’s a decent film.
Another one with a similar Avengers connection is 21 Bridges on Amazon Prime. Produced by the Russo Bros and starring Chadwick Boseman. Extraction is better, but it’s watchable and Boseman is good in it.

One of the reasons I don't like 5 guys - the peanut oil fried chips - really not for me
The only thing I liked in 5 guys was the american drink machine with grape Fanta and the various cokes - but not proper mountain dew, or the best American drink which is obviously root beer
I was in the States in December, American food would probably tick a lot of boxes on this thread, root beer floater being one of them
Root Beer is proper nasty. It’s like drinking fizzy Covonia.

My favourites are the Cajun fries from Five Guys. Orgasmic.

I get that though, vinegar and gravy doesn’t always feel right, sometimes it does.
I can forgive the lack of vinegar if there’s gravy in the equation.
Although personally, I’m a vinegar and gravy man. Only time I won’t apply vinegar is if they’re fries.
Same.
Chippy chips and oven chips absolutely need vinegar, but not fries.

If I list all the shite I’ve bought so far, I’d have to admit I have a problem.

Working my way through Brassic series 1 on sky. Joe Gilgun is excellent. The episode with Erin’s brother that I just watched was a highlight so far - like Shameless at its best.
It’s a proper gem, S2 is quality too

Ozark S3 Episode 1.
That was one damn fine hour of prestige TV.
The use of Radiohead’s ‘The Daily Mail’ during the final scene

Cheese and Jam on crackers or a sandwich is decent, but it needs to be chilli jam or something a bit different. You can’t just go chucking bit of a standard Robinson’s strawberry on there, you animals.

Just a bit of a sod to clean the man afterwards, but worth it
Ha yeah, you could lay bricks with the stuff if you let it go cold after heating.

We’ve decided to go back through Tarantino’s films in order, started tonight with Reservoir Dogs.
I loved the film as a teenager, but It’s been over 20 years now since I’ve sat and watched it all the way through.
It was great, it’s a fantastic film and I’d forgotten a fair few of the details here and there.
The madness of opening a crime thriller with a 7 min scene about Madonna and tipping etiquettes. The iconic scenes, the dialogue, the music, the back stories and the causal, menacing brutality of Michael Madsen. It’s a great introduction to what became a lot of his trademarks. It’s so lean as well, and by his own latter standards it’s like watching a short film.- 4

Corbyn’s mentalist brother has been arrested there today.
Yeah, I saw ‘Piers Corbyn’ trending and like quite a few people, I thought it was a alt-right piss take about Piers Morgan becoming a leftie!
His brother actually looks like Jeremy does in Sun/Mail readers minds!

Ok, so based on that 45mins I’m firmly in the ‘it’s better than nothing’ camp and from a Premier League/Villa perspective, I’d sooner this than getting relegated on a fecking spreadsheet.
It’s a bit flat, but we’ll have to get used to it if we want any football in he next 6-12 months.
It’s a bit like sex. Yeah you want it to be great all the time, but even an average shag is better than pulling your own plonker.
All in all....
