Saw someone last night say he lacked composure, I'm thinking the opposite I think he's too relaxed and too casual, thinks he's scored before he has
Still a great save though, got to score but take nothing away from the keeper
Yep absolutely too relaxed, I think he thought it was an open goal and any contact is enough to put it in.
All credit to the keeper like you say -

How can Spurs be blamed for this season co-efficient when they weren't in Europe? The extra spot for CL was based on this season only, what Spurs did three seasons ago had no bearing. The only way Italy can have 6 teams in CL is if one of them wins Europa and finished outside top 5.
The coefficient is calculated across the last few seasons, not this season alone. If spurs had done better in the first conference league and not got knocked out early the coefficient would be better

How can the ref know about the yellow card peno rule (which it appears no-one else on earth did), but not that it is up to the opposition to stop the goalie hanging onto the ball when it's in play?
Apparently all refs and club official were asked about rules at the draw, this was one question that was asked with club officials getting it wrong.

Are we going to single handedly drag Spurs into the Champions League with us?
Our coefficient being low is partly due to them anyway. If they’d took the first conference league seriously England would have higher numbers.
Was just reading an article in The Athletic, Roma winning that conference league helps Italy to be so high, high enough that if Italian sides win both lesser European tournaments this year, next year Italy will have 6 sides in Champions league -
I could see Angel Gomes coming in as Kamara back up, when he came on in both legs he used the ball very well.

I still don’t know how he didn’t score, it was like he thought it was an open goal

And I won’t ever write off Chiesa… have we ever had a player who has dominated an international tournament and led his team to victory?
Emi Martinez

I just don't get the financials they are shouting about. Their total income last season was £18.9 million. And they are going to build a 3 billion stadium. Wagner needs to F Blues off and sell that long life elixir he's smoking instead because with those figures it'll take over 150 years to earn the money back.
Oh also that is revenue, they actually lost £25 million so it seems well in line with the rest of Knighthead portfolio, i.e. losing a bomb.
This yank spiv in a royal blue jacket could be the actual death of them for good!
He used the fingers of one the blues fans to calculate it

A bit underrated IMO.
I don't understand, the constant reference to his wages.....We had a choice not to sign him, no arm up the back, or gun to the head.
The club has a decision to make, when they sign players.....no good bitching about it afterwards.
He has played well this season.....from my perspective, his wages are his and the clubs business....not mine.
I just want players to play well.....I don't want to know what they earn.
Gerrard signed him and so some people will always criticise him and the money he’s on

Tbf as one of their fans said they made 14m in 6 months for him which is damn good. For us it was steal. Who knows how good he'll be but could be worth upwards of 50m next season.
Doesn’t some of the fee go to city?

Makes me laugh how many posters on here treat him as a deal like Nedeljkovic, when he's clearly a deal like Azaz.
Any young signing could be that or they could develop into a first teamer. Yours is just a complete guess as is anyone else

He probably wont even be nominated but he really should be a leading contender for Player of the Season
Absolutely should win, as you say absolutely won’t because he’s not a sky 6 player

What an unbelievable save.

I am so sure that we came across him when Emery looked at the videos pre the FA Cup Boro game. And then once Emery saw him in the flesh was desperate for him. If he had been scouted for a long time we would have bought him last summer surely. He didnt pull up trees at his previous loan club either. Convinced it was an Emery purchase. Doesn't make sense for it to be Monchi
Our youth coach trained him at the Albion and apparently had mentioned him way before we played boro

I’m not watching but the bbc live feed has said he’s held the ball up really well for us and that his ball retention has been good.

Maybe but they can only possibly get another 18 points max, two more wins v palace and Bournemouth and we're completely clear.
Wouldn’t that only put us 16 clear?

Glad that they won today. They have a very easy run, they could be up near us come the end of the season.

Great strike for his goal. Still sets the tempo of the team, when he’s flying so are we

Looked really good in patches tonight. Shows some really good footwork, drives with the ball so well.

He’s so good on the ball. One stage in the first half, went past one player, then got closed down by 2 others, he remained calm, turned all 3 and then played a pass.

That clip 5 mins from the end with us 2-1 up in Europe and the villa fans looking thoroughly depressed sat down arms folded...
Miserable words removed, completely flat
It's so detrimental
And someone will no doubt say "oh its cos the players conceded a shit goal again" it's not, we're just miserable as a fanbase
It was absolutely because we conceded. It’s a great win, but in that instance it felt like a loss
