I seriously think there needs to be better drugs testing in football.

 

As a massive JJ fan Roger Gracie really annoyed the hell outta me, never seen anyone so bad. He should quit now, that's if Dana even gives him another shot.

As much as share your annoyance I hope he doesn't quit, he just needs to move back to 205. Last time I saw him in person he must have weighed ~230lbs and he was in good shape. 185lb is a ridiculous weight for a guy that size, he looked at death's door during the weigh ins.

I think he wants to fight at MW because he doesn't think he has the chin for LHW though so it's probably catch 22 in his mind.

 

If he's scared of facing people his own size I don't have much faith in his (supremely world class) grappling skills.

The only comparison I can think of is it seems like avtv is produced be EA games.

I find it bizarre that players are so keen to leave clubs at 13/14/15. Why exactly? They're not paid are they? What are they given exactly? 

I presume they're paid. But it's hard to hold onto someone who's been offered a place at a more famous club. Plus read the spoiler of the OP.

I wouldn't want us to sack him but I'd say 'foreign guffs' generally do as well if not better than British managers. So didn't quite understand that comment.

It's a bit odd that Moxley cites the Barry affair as an example of Lerner's tough and effective approach to transfers. We stood out for £18m from Liverpool and they didn't pay (although tbf that was as much to do with the Liverpool board losing faith in Benitez.as with our tough negotiating).

Next season we had to sell Barry for £6m less on top of having paid him a year's wages. Was that good business? I always cite it as an example of how poor Lerner's financial judgement is!

The way the game is at present the players are always going to have the upper hand in transfer dealings.

I don't believe in keeping players if they want to leave. What sort of commitment are we going to get from Benteke next season if we humiliate him very publicly in the way Moxley is setting us up to?

As a kid I was gutted that Yorke/Southgate left but you have to realise it's going to happen from time to time. Ok maybe it's happened to us far too often the last few years but we're not the only club it happens to. I can't wait to give Helenius his chance to prove himself. Gotta love a big technical forward.
