It probably should piss me off but the treatment the gvmt inflicts on the elderly like my parents where dad should relaxing in his later years not worrying over how he can cope as a carer when he is struggling himself.
This really is terrible. It's starting to get like that over here. it just isn't right the way they treat people. Hope they are alright.

Dips are very harsh, as are quite a few things above the head. I'll try pull downs. Looks like I'll be doing skull crushers for days.

Soooooooooo many effin' squats! And then lunge holds, and then more squats!
Anyone have any advice on helping triceps? Keep in mind I have a shoulder injury. So quite a few tri workouts flare it up, and if it flares up I can't do my job.

Started the morning with The Coasters radio and had my favorite weather, sun was shining while it was raining. THIS DAY HAS PROMISE! About to start whatever evil work out has been prepared for me, I plan to destroy it

Completed an hour workout in 41 minutes I am DEAD! Because it's been horrible weather almost no one has been showing up this week so my trainer said "good, that means I get to push you much harder" WTF!?! I assumed simply killing me was all that was left. I was wrong.
"And my buns, they don't feel nothin' like steel"

Not looking forward to Christmas this year. 2013 has been a bad year and we've had a family bereavement so Christmas will be more about reflection and thoughts of better times than a party. Roll on 2014.
I'm in a similar slightly more harsh situation. but I'm determined to salvage what I can......by leaving Florida........and visiting Birmingham......in December......Yuuuuup, it's gonna work out just fine I expect a lot of funny moments and a friggin Villa win.

I will be in Brum!! So I am telling you all now, I better see you for a "Robs corner" Villa meet up!

This is a perfectly safe exercise, right?
They do this in my gym.....I can't do this I get so happy with all I accomplish and then I see this crap and I'm just over here like oh, well I did 20 extra push ups.

It is in fact, number 3. Everyone here judges me because I hate grits! HATE THEM!

ACDC- If You Want Blood

This song came on and saved me at the end of my workout!!

1. A guy almost (accidentally) killed me in a severe car accident, instead I saved him by pulling him out of the wreckage
2. I was in College to become a writer before quitting and bartending for several years until I figured out what I wanted to do
3. One of my favorite things about being a southerner is grits. I can't wait to have some for breakfast

This seriously had me crying with joy. Which is silly, but true.

A Villa and Jags double win . Rarer than a french steak.
Worth a Gator loss?
YES! It's worth a Gator loss. The Jags WON A GAME. Same week as the Villa. The Gators will come back around again, but to see my NFL team finally win a game.....Someone said Jags fans are celebrating like they just won the Super Bowl. We very much were.

Yes! Lucy Davis! I can see thatWith dark hair I was told Christina Ricci
As I am normally blonde there was Alicia Silverstone and Lucy Davis ( I think that's her name, chick from The Office)
I agree with none of this.
it's not a bad thing for people to think it. I just really don't see it.

James- out to get you. (only once)
Runaway Train- Soul Asylum (the video plus the song)
Lately all Bobby Darin. my Nanna loved him. We would sing Hello Dolly as loud as we could any time it came on. Since she passed away it's just really hard to be happy when I hear it.

When I was a kid (read: toddler) I watched Terminator & Aliens and all sorts of violent, scary films (with father, mother worked at night), that simply washed over me because I was too young to fully empathise with the fictional people, unless it was Batman, in which case I got very upset when Batman found himself in a tight spot. Point is, my parents didn't really bother to shelter me from the harsh realities of the world, be it war or robots sent back to kill a kid. Perhaps it is why I'm a cynical wee shite now but I'm not one to attribute blame for my current self on others. Though when I listen to people describe the strange stories their parents came up to avoid answering tough questions, I do have to giggle.
I was actually openly encouraged to watch Aliens. My cousin told me it was too scary but then my mom said it's okay they're just like Ghostbusters monsters.
For some reason I was allowed to watch Robocop and Terminator but not total Recall on the basis that there is too much swearing in it. Also when my mom taped Gremlins for me from TV she cut out the part where the mother kills a few of them in her kitchen.
I watched all of the sci fi and horror stuff I wanted as a kid. I'm not cynical. I just enjoyed it. My dad loves action/sci fi anything so maybe I felt like we were bonding. My mom loves horror movies. My dad and I also can't pass up a good spoof movie. I wasn't allowed to watch anything with a "naughty" scene in it. I could watch people explode, but anything other than a kiss and I had to turn my head while they would fast forward.
Yep that's the point I made the other week. Being nasty to somebody is okay, but being nice to somebody in a film is totally unacceptable.
Well, I was allowed to see all other acts of kindness. But I think a 7 year old girl watching sexy time stuff with your mom and dad in the room would be odd. I still can't watch anything that gets too sexual if my dad and step mom are watching the movie as well. I am uncomfortable with it. But all things said, I didn't grow up with a desire to commit homicide or a fear of sex.
When I was a kid my mom and dad had no problems letting me watch pretty much anything, I used to fall asleep every night watching things like Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Texas Chainsaw Massacre I can't have been much older than 7 or 8.
I remember the first time I watched Terminator I probably would have been about 8 and I just remember thinking that Arnie was a bit of a dude but don't really remember actually noticing much of the violence or anything in it.
by the time I was in secondary school I dad a pretty extensive collection of horror films that I had taped over time.
I don't think it done much to damage me in many ways other than that I am pretty desensitized to seeing humans in pain or suffering now, I can watch a video of a man being beheaded and shrug my shoulders and say 'so what' but if you show me a video of an animal suffering I will flip my lip man that is the one thing I cant stand
I can't stand to see animals hurt. People, it depends.

The kings of summer is a brilliant little film, can't reccomend it enough.

When I was younger I used to get told all the time that I looked like the lead singer of starsailor, I absolutely despised the band but that actually helped me pull a **** load of birds for some reason
Then a few years later I started to get told that I resembled
Then I stopped taking drugs and put on a load of weight and started going bald and started getting told I looked like
These day's because of my beard I don't get told that I look like anyone famous but I am always told that I resemble a
the years have not been kind to me
jeeez, the years have been aggressive . It can't be this harsh.
With dark hair I was told Christina Ricci

That sounds horrible! It's also why I couldn't do the gym before work. Well what I really mean is there are pre-work workouts and there are post-work workouts. I'd want one that wakes me up rather than one that nearly kills me.5 sets today. The first was fewest to 100 squat jumps. Every time you have to stop, you run to the stop sign and back until you finally achieve 100. I only had to run 3 times, but I thought I was going to die!!! Everything they threw at me after that was shockingly easy though. It wasn't meant to be, but after that mess first thing, it just was.
It's set up for an hour, finished in 42 minutes yaaaaaaaaaaay! I now would very much like to go to bed instead of getting ready for work.
I'm too tired at the end of my work day to do this kind of work out. I can do cardio and abs or something. My trainer is trying to talk me into 2 a days. But I said only if it's not as intense in the evening. Also, maybe 3 days a week instead of 5. Just 5-6 mornings a week, but only 3 evenings. Then......................................................................................maybe.

Who just stayed and did another work out after work?.....ME! And I really really hope that's enough to make me sleep well. I can already say, two a days are not my favorite, but I did it.
