Older women worry more about ... "goodbye arms" *cringe* (I worry about goodbye arms)

As in bingo wings? Shirley not.

    (you brought this on yourself...)

Yes, bingo wings. And don't call me shirley.

I obviously don't have it to some serious level. But most of the workouts for triceps are what flare up my shoulder so bad. If it flares up, never mind the awful pain, think of how I can't do my job. SO it's been a really long road with improving upper body. I have improved, but my biceps are getting very toned yet my triceps still threaten to flap. *puke noises*

  2. *laughing* I really hope they don't say "I want you to work my ass out"

Older women worry more about the stomach or "goodbye arms" *cringe* (I worry about goodbye arms)

  3. I know, but they will still sign up with one of the trainers and say "can I have a lot of cardio?, the weights are heavy" jk, some ladies will actually want to do the work out. But you aren't wrong BOF

  4. the pre Christmas workouts !!!  they only put a deal up on monday !!!

It will start next month here. Right now it's people who are trying to stay healthy and in shape, but starting next month it will be all of the women that fear they will over-eat. (which in America, is kind of a redundant thought) But with all the candy of Halloween, ALLLLLLLLLL of the food at Thanksgiving, and of course the 5 different Christmas dinner meet-ups, they'll need the workout.

  5. Surely a flight to Vegas is cheaper...

WOOOOO! (I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner.....get prepared)

Yes it is, and don't call me shirley,

  6. I saw the newest Percy Jackson film. I agree with Villa4Europe. It was not well done at all. I really liked the first one but this one was fairly disappointing.

The Conjuring was awesome! It's been a long time since a scary movie has been....scary. The story and acting were also really well done.

The worlds end was an upset. I mean there were still several moments that cracked me up. But it just wasn't that good a movie and the ending was terrible. I do recommend the soundtrack though.

I watched Now You See Me last night. With the exception of the last 5 minutes being sappy I really liked this movie. It was funny, clever, well acted, and it actually took me a bit to figure out the "twist"

Has anyone seen 2 Guns? I was really interested in that but haven't heard much about it.

  7. When people that you know are going to lie to you lie, and it still upsets you. You see it coming and yet when it gets here you're still somehow shocked and disappointed.

Also, being American and southern I love (although almost NEVER drink anymore) sweet iced tea. And I have been craving it for a week or so now. I have made 3 attempts to purchase one sweet tea. EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM has been unsweet. One place delivered the wrong drink, another just doesn't know how to make it apparently, and another was a friend error. She asked me what I wanted, I told her, she brought back unsweet.Honestly this is the absolute least of all of my worries in life, yet, it's what's pissing me off!

  8. Lately I keep finding that box step ups (single leg) and anything like upward boat or high bicycles just causes me a lot of pain. I do have problems with my tail bone but it didn't start bothering me too bad until the last month or so. I am guessing I need to stretch more but it really is becoming a problem.

I did however finally upgrade on high plank rows!!! 15 lb weights from 10. I hated every minute of it. But I did it:)

AND I'm at 30 lbs for dead lift upright rows from 20 :)

I know thats nothing compared to you buff folks but considering my shoulder has been a serious problem for a long time I'm pretty excited about it. My legs and cardio are awesome. I rarely struggle with that unless I'm tired. But Still, improvements make me happy. :)

And with the previous topic, I love the summer, hate the winter. Especially the time change. The winter is only awesome for cuddling. (Yeah, I said it)

I love winter, summer is just a week long event in England where the shops run out of bread cus every one has BBQs, pubs get full of part time drinkers who only go there when the sun is out and people start driving like dicks for some reason.

Ok, I'll put it another way, I love the summer in FLORIDA :)

The time change really does get to me more than the weather itself. Not quite depressed but just a little melancholy for a few days. I don't like it. I prefer having the sun out a lot longer. But I'm noticing on VT that when it comes to this preference I stand alone. :P

  10. Tomorrow will be one week without a car. In Jacksonville Florida that's not easy to put up with. And car salesman are really starting to piss me off with how ignorant they expect me to be. Hopefully I will have a new car by Monday.

Also, the show Fringe has not only taken over my social time but it's making me not care one bit about sleeping. I think I'm actually going to be upset when I finish the series.
