Don't understand the clamour to get rid of Digne.  He's essentially been pivotal in us having our best season in a long, long time and he and Moreno are probably the most like-for-like replacements we have in the entire squad.

Purely down to his wage I imagine.  Yes he would be closer to the end of his career than he would to the start but it's really all down to the contract.  He's had a fine season, like the rest of the team.

He's doing 2 jobs on the pitch, we have no defensive midfielder so he's pitching in with that plus trying to be creative, he's overworked.

    This.

We could have said the same with Ashley Young last season, doesn't mean we don't need an upgrade.

He didn't say we don't need an upgrade on Cash.  He said for all his limitations we'd be a better side with him at RB than we are at the moment, and we would.

Not sure if this has been posted already. Can't tell if it's slightly edited as the badge looks misaligned or if it's the crease.

No this is not our new kit.  Standard shirt with an authentic logo (bottom left of shirt) that is only on the 'authentic' adidas shirts.

  5. Konsa at RB is hard to watch, seems such a waste.  How long is Cash out for?  It would be a big upgrade to have Konsa back at CB instead of Carlos.

I will say it again, I would buy him. He is an Italian international, probably going to the euros, so the reported 15m euros, is peanuts for a young international player with potential

I agree with this.  I think it's not down to lack of effort so far in his Villa career.  I do think like Bailey, he could turn it around here.

If Ajax is anything to go by, they only seem to have one tier of shirt available and I can't spot any different between what the players are wearing and the shirt I bought. No air holes or different textures like with Villa's current replica and pro versions.

We will be the same as Ajax in terms of just a standard shirt, and not having the option of an authentic shirt.  Only 'top tier' clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus etc get that treatment.  I would be surprised if there will be a long sleeve option too.  Still we never had an LS option with Kappa or Castore (strangle enough Wolves do).

  8. Haven’t bought the new shirt yet. I’m wondering about the sizing of the shirts as I’ve never owned a Castore shirt before.

Is it a case of the shirts being true to size or do you need to size up? Asking for both the standard shirts and player issue too!

    Thanks  in advance!

Just forgetting the 230 apps for us?

Dwight has forgotten all those appearances and goals he scored for Villa. The only time he talks about Villa is when the managers job is available, every time, and it’s boring.

Mr. Manchester United, take a look at his IG.

I have the below picture on my wall in canvas form.  I just happened to be staring at it the other night and was thinking of the first player I thought of in each shirt.

Not necessarily my favourite or the best player, just whoever springs to mind first.

Aston Villa Football Shirts Art – Terry Kneeshaw Art

    From left to right...

Row 1: Peter Withe, Dean Saunders, Dalian Atkinson, Mark Draper

Row 2: Gareth Southgate, David Ginola, Darius Vassell, Thomas Hitzlsperger

Row 3: Ashley Young, Darren Bent, Ashley Westwood, Ron Vlaar

Row 4: Idrissa Gueye, John Terry, John McGinn, Jack Grealish

Edit: I don't think Hitzlsperger even wore the shirt I envisioned him in!  All part of the fun.  Must have been the DWS (cows) that drew me in on him.

Row 1: Gary Shaw, Dalian Atkinson, Dean Saunders, Savo Milosevic.

Row2: Ugo Ehiogu, Gareth Barry, Lee Hendrie, Milan Baros

Row 3: Martin Laursen, Nigel Reo-Coker, Christian Benteke, Jack Grealish.

Row 4: Gabby Agbonlahor, John Terry, John McGinn, Jack Grealish.

I once checked a Thai bride site out of curiosity. Since then I kept getting ads about Thai relationships popping up. They got so annoying that I ended up marrying a Thai woman just to stop the ads appearing on Internet Explorer.

    And you marry long time?

he should be given a chance

The fact that Gerrard started with Traoré and then brought on Trezeguet against Brentford when they’re not played all season makes me think that El Ghazi’s days are numbered.

If ElGhazi does go he’ll always be remembered for that Play Off Final goal though. For the price paid, he’s done fine.
