On another binge of Sopranos. As good as shows like The Wire and Breaking Bad, I think its fair to say, that without Sopranos, those great shows likely would never have happened. There was a great line from Tony Soprano when reflecting on the fall - out from the Junior and Mother situation, "Psychiatry and cunnilingus got us to here." How do you beat that?
Personally, nothing else even comes close. It's got it all, and it's so clever at times, even watching it back time and time again there's so much I've missed in the previous run throughs.

Ryan Sessegnon.
Championship legend. 25m. 5 year deal.
About 3 appearances and going on a free.
Wow, I always thought he looked a real prospect. Guess that's him done now.

Bloody great catch that.
Was incredible, absolutely superb.
What a match that was. Fair play.

Blimey, this is some match!

Had never heard of him before this tournament, can see him travelling the world and competing in the various franchise leagues.
Can only be a good thing for cricket if we get a well known USA player and half decent team competing well at World Cup's.
Exactly the same, a few of the US batsman have looked decent so far, I know Pakistan aren't the force they might have been but America have really held their own here.

Great start for the USA against Pakistan.
Been a cracking game this. Aaron Jones is doing his reputation no harm right now.

I want to like Mbappe, but I can't help but think he's living that Neymar career path. No doubt on his talent, but he seems to be riding this 'bigger than the club' thing and even at Real, I can't see that being a good thing.

It’s not that big a deal but the badge the season just gone looked so good it’s a real shame we’re just gong back to a different version of the Lerner badge.
Oh well.
But, it's gonna be the badge we all remember when Ginny is lifting the Champs League trophy. I'm not arsed about drop shadow, I'm arsed about winning trophies.

Supporting our new billionaire owners right now during this new 'friendship' link with City might sound like a nice option currently, but let us not forget the shitshow owners we've had before who didn't have the same amount of resources. I wouldn't fancy free spending under Deadly, Lerner (MON tried) or Xia.
FFP exists for a reason. It's not 100% right how it works, and it still favours creative accounting and rule bending, and that needs to be punished appropriately, but I'd hate for us to go bust because some bandit comes down with his fake millions and ruins the club.

The beginning of the end. Stay safe sweet prince. Enjoy the Olympics. Love you forever.]

A lot of this legal process is to drag it out for as long as possible, and that's exactly what they've done. The longer from the date of the incident, the less likely to be found guilty, it's natural human nature.

Not normally a massive fan of T20 but enjoying the World Cup so far I gotta say.

@dubbs - focus on the good, if you can manage the mid ground, do it, it it's too much, **** off and make some time for yourself.

I am the only fan on the planet that's not that arsed about the badge, specifically the finer details?
Whatever we go for is gonna look banging on the strip when we're lifting the Champions League next season.

Mrs D and I are going on our 1st holiday together in all the 15 years we've been together. Our eldest daughter, her husband and his parents are coming too. Why am I not looking forward to it? Feels like I've been railroaded into it since it was discussed about 9 months ago. 10 days in Tenerife and I'm already looking forward to coming home. We've not even left yet. WTF is wrong with me? Haven't felt right for a couple of weeks mentally, so I would have thought something new would have picked me up but I'm actually dreading it at the moment. Was thinking earlier I'd much rather have the 2 weeks off at home and if I felt like going somewhere then I could.
Feels like a bit of a cycle, although I'm still waiting for the high points to come around.
There was a very similar post recently from another VTer, it's really common mate, even if it's just you and the wife, it'd feel like a stress. There's a lot of anxiety, a lot out of your control, a lot that you could potentially see as an issue... In the grand scheme of things, none of it will happen, and you'll have a great time, but you're not the only one that feels like this.
BTW, not sure if you've ever been but Tenerife is a lovely place, and if you want it to be 'touristy' the options are there, if you want it to be 'authenticy' than the options are there too. Try not to overthink it, if you land and it's all kicking off, get down to one of the beach bars, Fiji Beach Club has a lovely little set up, have a nice cold Dorada and watch the waves for a bit, you'll soon feel right again.

Former Spurs left-back Danny Rose, managed us, winning 1 PL, 2 CL, 1 FA Cup and 3 LC. And currently manages Lyon.
Harry Kane has been assistant at various clubs, Elche and Cadiz in Spain, then Lyon, then Bournemouth and now at Newcastle.
The former Celtic centre back Darren O'Dea who was an utterly sh*t footballer has become one of the most successful managers in the game. Won the League and CL at Villa and has done the same at Napoli.
Gerrard has ended up as Saudi manager, what a surprise. His last 3 jobs before that were, Isreal manager, Luxembourg manager and Southend DOF.
Art imitating life imitating art once again

That was exactly my feelings at the time. At 23, I was no way savvy/brave/wise enough to move to London and live away from my family and friends etc, and move into a houseshare. Far too scary and big of a step for me.
45 later this month! I think my time for relocation has passed now mate. I'm not unhappy with my situation now, I just wish in hindsight that the journey to today was a bit more exciting
Never ever too late mate, similar field of work, change of company, all of a sudden there's opportunities to work in Singapore for a bit. Personal circumstances, might not allow, but you can't be riding that wave brother.
Get out, do it, it's still there man.

Honestly, thank you both so much. I genuinely didn't realise this was such public knowledge.
-
@mikeyp102 @tomav84 - I'd kiss you both if I could right now.
This kind of thing shouldn't be kept so quiet by the club, and also, the sanctions on sharing a ticket (granted, I understand why it might be an issue, but also, the punishments are far too tough when it's enough to result in an empty seat anyway) are too much.
Thanks, mad love for this info.
