I'm a Stockport fan so you'll probably think I'm biased as I 100% want him to stay the whole season but he's genuinely not ready for the step up yet. He's doing fantastic for us and is one of our best players but there's so much he needs to work on. His decision making after taking players on needs work along with his crossing and he was marked out of the game against Doncaster as they came with a game plan to nullify him. Every week he gets a little bit better and he's learning so much. He's treated like a superstar and you can tell he's loving the experience. He went to Salford away last week and was in the away end with the Stockport fans and must have had hundreds of photos took with the fans and loved every minute of it. It's not broken right now so don't try to fix it is my view. Let him be and see where he's at in May.

He got player of the match tonight although personally I would have given it to a number of other players before him. He was electric first half taking players on but still needs to work on that final ball. He's some player but some way off the finished article. We absolutely love him though and obviously want him to stay for the rest of the season. I actually think it would be a big mistake to send him out to a higher division as he's getting better and better where he is. He's doing great so far. Work rate has been fantastic but tired in most games with 20 mins to go. Today he played the full 90 and didn't stop. Defenders are terrified of him and his goal today was superb. He needs to work on his final ball in after he leaves the player for dead as quite often puts it too close to the keeper. Also, his consistency in finishing can definitely improve as missed some great chances despite scoring in last 3 games. His goal today was fantastic as well as his goal against Mansfield last week. Seemed to be generating a good understanding between him and Nick Powell today as well. Fans absolutely love him but he definitely needs the whole season with us and then you will have a real prospect.

Louie looks a quality player so far. He's settled into the team well and his work rate is excellent. Fantastic when taking players on and his positional play is superb. Every game he seems to improve and is going to be a huge asset for us. Really looking forward to watching him progress and we will look after him. Setup at Stockport these days is extremely professional and he certainly has a platform he can perform on. This is his goal from Saturday all be it a wicked deflection. Very unlucky not to get a couple more.
