One of the biggest fattest W's in Premier League history.
Christmas cancelled for one half of Sheffield.
Don't say it, you know we'll lose 1-0

Need it to be like the last two home games on Friday night against SU and stay loud if it's close going into the last ten.
We go top (for a short while) with a win, the roof should be coming off, this is what we've waited for, we've suffered through O'Leary, Remi Garde, McLeish, Lambert etc, we should be having a fecking party!!!

A chance to go top of the league on the Friday night of Christmas weekend. And a chance to stay top if ARS-LIV draw...VP will be rocking!
It needs to be, might need to get the boys over the line again and suck the ball in if it's 0-0 or something going into the final stages...

Fingers crossed we don’t just turn up and think we’ve won before a ball’s kicked because it won’t be that easy.
Absolutely this - potential banana skin and Sheffield will make it difficult for us and fight for everything. We need to be as professional and switched on and up for it as we were against Man City for example.

We've struggled at their new ground like we used to struggle at the old Griffin Park in the Championship days, would be nice to finally win there on Sunday.
PL teams at home won't do it and Brentford with Frank in charge certainly aren't about this at all but I think opposition teams would have more joy against us if they sat back with a low block and looked to hit us on the counter like Forest and Mostar twice rather than coming at us and playing into the hands of the famous offside trap.

i hope mcginn gets a rest tonight.
And Tielemans and Bailey, they looked knackered against Arsenal.

Only 3,900?!
Complete discrimination and racism from 'Boro! 5,000 of us will be turning up and either they let all of us in or none of us go in as that's the allocation we should rightly have been given!

I'd go with:
Olsen
Cash Chambers Lenglet Digne
Dendoncker
Luiz Ramsey
Zaniolo Diaby
Duran
Subs: Martinez, Konsa, Torres, Carlos, Moreno, Watkins, McGinn, Kamara, Bailey.

I’ve attached a link:
https://www.rome2rio.com/map/Birmingham-Airport-BHX/Mostar
It maybe useful for the fans heading to Mostar to have a look at the link I’ve attached.
Edit: I’ve just looked again. It seems that Wizz Air fly from Luton to Sarajevo. And then fans get a train from Sarajevo train station to Mostar. Unfortunately the journey would take 3hrs30mins to get from Sarajevo to Mostar by train. Not ideal for fans but that could be the only way to get there I’m afraid.
What about flying to Split and road or rail to Mostar from there?
For those that know Steve Gough I believe he is running a coach for Villa fans from Split to Mostar.

Inject it right into my veins, get in there Cal my son!

1:23 in an SOTV ringing out already mate.
I timed it earlier than that.
A lot of empty seats in that away end. Are the buses from Chelmsley on strike mate or is there a bottleneck coming out of the JLR staff car park?
Mate.

Not saying we won’t turn up but I think there’s a chance we’ll be a bit drained. Would not surprise me if we experience the high of Wednesday along with the low of losing our home record within a week . I’d snap your hand off with a draw but even if we did lose it takes nothing away from Wednesday night . Prove me wrong Villa.
I - as I often do with you RV- feel the same.
I'd love to stuff it up these weird, fam/blud squealing, AFTV hype-man, entire club-shop replica wearing chuffbucket freaks more than I can describe. With that prat who was trying to wind Villa fans up after they beat us 4-2 at VP last season who got kegged and his hat pinched with the permanently attached Arsenal club shop headphones round his neck being given a leg-and-a-wing off the platform at Aston station into the prickly brambles below by @Follyfoot and his mates as the icing on top of the cake!!

Is Doku definitely definitely out?

Have fun tonight guys. Gonna be a cold one but make it hostile for them
I've been practising my Galatasaray-style whistling for when they've got the ball.

Oh absolutely, I think they will keep quiet. But as an example, I personally know a few guys from Burton who will be coming. Not trouble makers - but I think there will likely be a fair share of them in the stands!
Any Villa fan who has purchased a ticket for an away fan should have their membership cancelled and booking history wiped.

There will be a lot of away fans sitting in home end as this went to General sale too. Hopefully no incidents.
It hasn't, you can only buy a ticket with an AVFC FAN ID created before the draw was even made for the group stage.

What I am sure of is that there will be many Legia fans throughout the stadium.
Knowing the polish community, there will be Legia fans who attended a Villa game 2 seasons ago, have a fan ID, and will simply buy a ticket.
That will be a handful at most.

I guess my personal feelings towards it are we see and know annually about the Manchester concert bombings (Bee's since then have very famously become the symbol of Manchester when before that tragic event, I had NO idea the Bee was a symbol for Manchester).
Liverpool have the Hillsborough disaster annual event and yes, it's taken 30 years for any justice to be found, but you KNEW it was there and the families of the 96 were in the news etc.
London you have the Lee Rigby (I think? I won't Google because if I'm wrong that's kind of my point of famous events!)
Birmingham lost 21 people and injured another 100 or so? It's local news. Very strange.
Couldn't have put it any better myself mate.

So basically, if we win by a margin of two goals or more we've won the group?

Shameful this hasn't been investigated further, can you imagine it being swept under the rug if it happened in London, Manchester or Liverpool? Absolutely not.
Are Brummies too passive? Or is it another reason?
I agree wholeheartedly with your comment about London, Manchester or Liverpool, can't help but feel the same which is sickening.
I don't think it's because us Brummies are passive generally, I'm proud to be a Brummie and see us in the main as passionate, loyal and down-to-earth folk. I think the two points here go hand-in-hand, I'm just about to turn 30 and there are many people my age who I speak to who aren't even aware that it ever occurred which completely baffles me but I don't blame them for it, more down to the authorities' efforts to sweep it under the rug and try and forget it ever happened and therefore the lack of publicity for the brave and determined people of the official Justice 4 the 21 campaign some of whom I know and the last word that could be used to describe them is 'passive'!

Have my eyes deceived me this evening?
For all the usual 'ProppaArdBloozKROSOTVZW' accounts that spout off online about how they're proper hard nutcases and the regular 'that wouldn't happen at Stans mate' BS I see from them in the replies to a video of the away fans at our European home games this season being escorted to VP I'm pretty sure I've just witnessed half an opposition team's players climb into their so-called main end at the sty and take a comfy seat. All the Lulus were mysteriously held back by empty blue plastic seats and just shouted nasty words and waved their arms around from a safe distance
I've never seen an opposing player do anything of the sort to the Holte...
All da Zuluz must have still been drinking in town mate!!!
