He's taken Traore's place in the match day squads for me - once Traore is back from his injury, he will be shipped off

Basel 3-1 down after 1st leg. Hopefully they lose and bump Fiorentina up into the seeded spots

Might have to amend the name of the thread if he's going to use his double-barrelled surname.

We would have got a loan fee from the French club last year and will be getting one from Nice this time, as well as both clubs covering most/all of his wages so I think the club have done OK from a FFP point of view, especially if there are no teams that want to buy him outright.

When we speak of attacking options many of us have left out Jhon Duran, now just a question do we feel he is not at a level to play for us regularly or do we sometimes forget he exists, i see archer suggested as a option more than him and archer wasnt even with us but personally i think he is quite raw and needs plenty coaching but do you feel he will be loaned out?
Personally I think Archer is ahead of him in development and it could do wonders for Duran to go to a Championship side on loan and (hopefully) bang in 20 goals and come back for the 24/25 season to help us win the Champions League.

Could include some 'deadwood' in any Johnson deal. Kienan Davis had a good spell there, they might welcome him back.
-
If/When it happens, I can't wait for the media to lambast us for paying £30-40m for a player with a year left on his deal and then fawn over Arsenal/City for paying £100m + for Declan Rice who also has one year left on his deal

I don't see how gigs etc. would affect the build. The stage will be in front of the North Stand so any demolition works wouldn't really be in the way.

Anyone get Foo Fighters tickets for Villa Park? I couldn't resist.
Villa website showed the seating plan as having a golden circle area but these didn't show on the ticketing website. Does anyone know if these are reserved for certain ticket holders a la BST Festivals?

As others have mentioned, this gives us the option of pushing Konsa out as one of Emery's CB as a RB options
And potentially vice versa with Mings/Torres playing LB on occasion

Im waiting for the PSG bid.
Same - Not getting excited by this until he's holding the shirt.. and even then I would be worried that the shirt would be a Villa/PSG half-and-half shirt

I watched it yesterday and I know why we have done soft launch.
I'm also really excited for the next few years.
HIGHLY recommended if you're doubting Heck.
Here:
NGL .. After watching this if Heck has looks at everything and wants to start from scratch i'm all for it. The job he did with the 76ers has been excellent.

Did he mention or hint at any of this at the fan consultation the other night?

The article said it was a 'Premier League Boss'? I assumed it was someone who worked for the Premier League and not a current PL manager/coach?
Yeah that's most likely correct. Just strange timing from the stories meant the obvious thought. 1 + 1 = 50!

Wonder if it had anything to do with The Sun news article this morning regarding a Prem manager being questioned regarding a historical rape allegation

Would Jurrien Timber be out of our range? Seems like his profile could be a great fit for the right back position under Emery, where he is a centre back by trade, but comfortable on the right and also has great passing range and dribbling ability and also knows how to defend
Turned down a move to Utd last summer I think. Surprised ETH hasn't been back in for him

this sums it up very well. Talks about the Saudi PIF owning Saudi clubs as well as a stake in Chelsea.. and now Chelsea just happen to be selling 3 High earners to said clubs. FFP in the gutter
