Sounds like he knows where the net is.
He's basically the player we all hoped Keinan Davis would've developed into.

I was saying we should sign Edouard and Eze last summer, but I don't think we will be siging either this window.
No idea how accurate it is but Transfermarkt transfer rumors says Leicester are favored at 65% .

Cannot believe we’re not trying to get McKennie either. Already looks quality and at 21 can go to the very top. Him, McGinn and Luiz in midfield next season would be an exciting proposition.
Who says we aren’t trying to get him?

Edouard or bust for me. Dudes gonna be a star.

Dunno if it’s legit but...
we really must learn our lesson from the Drinkwater move.
What a complete & utter disaster.
Prem experience is not always all it’s cracked up to be...
Well to be fair the drinkwater move seemed like an absolute desperation move to add something to the midfield. I doubt this McCarthy thing is legit. -
from the Holt End Hawkeye guy on Twitter:
“Dean Smith will sit down in the next fortnight with chief executive Christian Purslow and Johan Lange, the club’s new sporting director, to discuss targets. “

I think it's a beauty, the detailing on the badge is awesome.
Nvm. Misread the website. -

Wish the Claret & Blue clubs would make some sort of pact where each one would have a unique shirt design.
Or west ham can just go back to their original Oxford Blue color and leave us alone with the Claret and Blue.- 3

Well I've just watched the video and I still barely know what it looks like.
Why can't they just show an actual video or picture of the shirt on a human being?
It’s on the shop site

Ianacho (spelling) or Abraham would improve us no end in that position.

He's missed 22 big chances this season. El Ghazi has missed 7. So a similar ratio and he gets battered on here.
Should be pretty obvious as to why El Ghazi get's battered on here.

There will be big signings, we have more money than most and the owners are happy to spend as much as FFP allows, but the we start filling the academy and reserves with very promising young players who develop here hence the "sustainability'. Chelsea have been doing it for years, hasnt stopped them spending big.
We spent £130m on filling the squad last season, no "marquee" signings unless you count [at that moment] overpaying for Mings. Imagine if we had a developed talent competing for places, out on loan learning their trade, on lower wages instead of paying through the nose for everyone we need? If anything it will allow us to pay MORE for marquee signings every season in the long run, due to savings and sale income on those who dont make the grade [when we are "at the top level of European Football"].

Yeah, I’d agree, I would go:
Odsonne Eduoard - £30m - centre forward
Ollie Watkins - £18-20m - centre forward
Benrahma - £20-25m - attack mid/wing
Sarr - £30m - attack mid/wing
I’d probably bring in a youngish LB and a RB too, and perhaps an older more experienced CB (on a free transfer or something). Defence was really our major problem most of the season and buying just attackers won’t solve that I don’t think.
It’s a challenge for less than £120m I think.
I would be so happy if we landed Édouard. Seems like he’s got no real interest in leaving Celtic though. -

IIRC he was pretty accurate with his info last summer, but might be wrong - can anyone confirm?
Looking through his twitter feed last summer and there seems to be a good bit of accurate information. Of course, I have no idea if some of the posts he made were already public knowledge.

(Pinch of salt with the link needed)
Honestly never heard of him but a quick Mooney reveals he’s a 27yr old french left back.
maybe a replacement for Taylor to add competition for Targett?
Appreciate it’s a twitter link so necessary levels of belief required.
Same guy says we are in for Everton Soares.- 1

Some of the most disappointing comments by “fans” I’ve seen on here (granted, I haven’t been here that long) have been the disgusting character attacks on Mings. One of the more humorous ones was that he developed a social platform thanks to us and then decided Villa weren’t important and his social media life was all that mattered.

McGinn knows
https://twitter.com/villareport/status/1287866072004087809
John McGinn: “I think everyone is aware we need quality added. We obviously spent a lot of money last summer and we may need to go and do it again. We can’t get complacent and think everything is alright now.” [telegraph]

He’d cost an awful lot
Would probably cost the entirety of our transfer budget. We should loan him.

I say we splurge and get Dean Henderson.

I may be misremembering but wasn't that the case for a few of our signings last year? I thought no one knew about Wesley until right before we signed him?
