I get how Hearn left Sky to go to DAZN etc but you have Taylor-Serrano this weekend, huge fight, first time 2 females headlined at the big room at the garden. And it’s a brillant fight too. Sky have decided to give it zero mention as they have done with all fights on DAZN since Hearn left. Now i get that. But if you are a broadcaster that has championed women’s sport for years as sky have done magnificently and you totally blacklist coverage of the most biggest fight in women’s boxing and an iconic event because your promoter left - that’s petty. They run a dedicated 24/7 independent sports news channel. They’ve given it zero mention. Nothing on their website. Totally fine if this is the route they want to take but they have misjudged the tone. This was the wrong fight to do this.

This is Sky in a nutshell, they are not a dedicated sports news channel, they simply promote their own products most of the time. Snooker never gets a mention for instance. The only reason they give the Champions league a mention is because some of the sky6 clubs are doing well etc, if they got knocked out early it probably wouldn't get a mention. UFC never gets mentioned etc etc Scumbags.

Cannot wait for this fight, Katie is awesome and so is Serrano too, its the women's fight ever and to be held where it is is fantastic. I have always felt Katie is invincible but this one, I'm not sure about, come on the Katie.

He may be losing 3-1, but that last frame by Ronnie was something else. When he's in the zone he really is like nobody else, it's just mesmerising watching him.

With a couple of old Ronnie type pots in there too, that was a great frame, I love those chess match type of frames.

Check the opinion polls out, despite what you are saying being true, the Tory Party are nosediving.

You get to a stage in election cycles where people decide a change is needed, we'd probably have already reached that point in 2019 if... but well, let's not dwell on that now.

I think we've definitely reached it now, there is still yet worse economic news to come and the Tories as they've shown really do not know how to help the population, the gimmicks suggested by the cabinet are laughable

Getting the **** out right now would be dandy. The longer Bunter stays PM the better though I suppose as he will keep them in the gutter till we can send them packing.

Maybe we need more players with villainous names. Mings, McGinn and Watkins are too friendly sounding. Gravenberch, Scamacca and Sinisterra strike terror from the moment your eyes hit the team sheet.

This made me laugh more then it should have, good post Sir.

I think you are giving the great British public too much credit. The rich will always vote conservative and the Neanderthals are now fully on board with the notion that labour will let all the black people in to take our jobs. Ironic given that most of these words removed don’t have jobs to take.

Im sure the tories will still win the next election

Yep, wouldn't surprise me, God help us.

I’m hoping he doesn’t leave with the 3 points on Saturday either…

No chance, They are already gone so he might as well do Steven Gerrard (on topic) a favour and put Pukki in goal.  Hope Gerrard gets as much love as Deano does on the day.

I don’t know why people are so obsessed with him going to Liverpool. I can’t see them wanting a manager so raw and in any event of Liverpool came after any successful manager of ours it doesn’t matter who they are, they’d leave. Even Smith would leave us for Liverpool I’m sure

100%, crikey, he left us for Norwich.

To be fair mate, eliminating Gerrard from the equation even.

It would be absolute madness for them to even consider not keeping Klopp. One of the absolute best in World Football without question.

Has done an even better job than Pep, with where he's taken them from. Without consistent stupendous money as well.

Klopp only goes when he wants IMO, and that will either be into retirement, or to another elite club, or International.

The only way SG even enters that conversation is by over achieving with us, or another club IMO.

Klopp is quality, I hope, as does Steven Gerrard I'm sure (boom, on topic like a pro) he does the quadruple to be honest, I do not like them but they are a traditional old money big club that haven't just bought their way to the top, not so much anyway. Agree about SG, I was hinting in my post that he's miles off a job like Liverpool but I'm not bothered if he did leave us for them, Jack going killed any allegiance I have to anyone anymore, If he goes it's because he's put Villa in the big boy conversation.

I doubt the story would have been any different. What logical reason would Liverpool have, to want to part with Klopp?

This was always something which was only likely, if EVER, in probably 3, 4, 5 years or more.

This will ruin alot of people's fantasies on here 😂

    He’s using us for 2028! 😂😂😂😂

He would have to crack top4 and plop drop out of it I'd think to even be in the mix, it always felt like it would be us then another step up before he would be considered for a top job like that. Hope he settles a few nerves and starts delivering for us, progress progress, if he does the business I'll buy zatman a Gerrard shirt

Virgil's Cream Soda is the tippy-top for me.  Just a shame it's a) so bloody expensive and b) so hard to get hold of.

    Virgil's Handcrafted Vanilla Cream Soda - 12fl.oz (355ml) - American Fizz

Thanks for the tip Gareth, this is lovely.

Fun and jokes aside, would anyone actually have Henderson as a " leader " in the summer 🤔

Yes and I think he is the type of Captain that Gerrard has been hinting at, his discipline and know how would help our cause and the kids coming through considerably. Apart from that egotistical snatch the ball to take that missed (good, haha) England penalty, I'd say he's a model pro that would bring enough to make it a good move. Depends on what he wants, I'd say plop would rather keep him a little longer but how involved will he be.

I’m good with Purslow generally just surprised he took such a massive risk in a key decision at this pivotal point for the club.  Fair play if it does pay off down the line but such a risk.

It was risky and doesn't look to achieved anything but moving sideways so far but would Dean have stopped that run, would we have gone down, it may have saved us, who knows, I didn't want Gerrard, I wanted us to aim higher but now he is here I've seen glimpses of what could be and we must see what the summer brings. I do think Purslow will be ruthless though, he, Nas and Wes want what we want and they will do what needs to be done to get there.
