Scenes for the player arrival was insane. Will have given them a huge boost. Absolutely superb form everyone there. 👏

The fans did brilliantly but I can’t help thinking the players look slightly awkward rather than inspired 😂

Unai, Ollie and Emi seemed to like it the most.

There’s a world where West Ham beat Plop we win against Chelsea then beat Liverpool and we’d only be 2 points behind them with two games to go…

I want Liverpool to beat West Ham, we need them still in the title race when they play Spurs.

This is the new ticketing website that they changed to a few weeks ago 😫

Maybe the old website would have been better 😬

I never had a problem with the old system!

  4. I thought I had a terrrible experience buying the tickets but sounds easy compared to some on this thread. Took me 45 minutes of ‘queueing’, several crashes but I got seats where we normally sit. It was so unnecessarily stressful though.

I was cursing the club for not adding extra criteria as we’ve been to most league games and every single conference game including Hibs.  I would have been fuming if we hadn’t got tickets. Would it have been so hard for the club to have had priority to those who had been to one group game and one knock out or something similar that would have halved the amount of people trying to get in at once. The demand was obviously going to be massive.

Same, but if we don't it's not the end of the world.  Spurs have no plan B so will play their high intensity attacking football against Arsenal, I can see Arsenal carving them open.

Sort of but you can guarantee they will get those 6pts from the Burnley and Sheff Utd games and make up the goal difference too so we really do need to get more points on the board before we run out of games to do so.

    They don’t seem terribly confident.

But I thought a team like Chelsea should be wiping the floor with us?

(I’m still bitter about the words of that slippy scouse fraud!)

They’re as sure they’re going to lose to us as we were sure we were going to lose to Arsenal away.

Reading this thread tonight, Palace are now world beaters, The Harlem Globetrotters of Football. Chelsea and Liverpool now easy games For Villa and Spurs. Anything else I missed?

About sums it up. Come back tomorrow after Brighton beat City and we’ll be worried about them too.

Those prediction percentages swing massively with every result at this stage of the season. If Chelsea beat us and Spurs beat Arsenal, which is not implausible, that 80/20 would probably flip back in Spurs' favour.

Agree. That account and supercomputers are a load of old nonsense.

  9. He did have a choice in this didn’t he? We haven’t just triggered an extension on our own? He has had to willingly sign something?

Great character and has had some great games this season but, I think he's been in pretty poor form since he came back from the ban.

He’s had one dodgy game against Lille in which they were all crap.

To get the control he gets here, Unai would need to replace both Tuchel and Rummenigge at Bayern.

I think people underestimate the degree to which we've given him the keys to the castle.

I don’t underestimate it, I just slightly worry about it. It’s obviously working at the moment and long may it continue but it does come with risk. Anyway, I genuinely believe he is 100% committed here at the moment. No way has he worked this hard to get distracted at this stage of the season. I’ll be happy if the managerial merry go round passes him by in the summer tho.
