Hard to believe they actually happened at 0-0. He goes off and we conceded two in two minutes.
It's a good point though, looked a muscle injury so probably won't be available next weekend and might miss the last one in March aswell. Ben Davies and the Romanian guy aren't quite as quick to cover Romero's gambles on balls.
They’ve already said they don’t think it’s anything serious.

Bloke looks completely fatigued and no sign of a rest given the injuries and suspension. Him and Tielemans are going to be run into the ground.

He's not done that.
What did he get sent off for then? Like I said I thought it was harsh but people seem convinced it was a red.

took his frustration with his teammates out on the opposition and as a result made it even more difficult for his teammates.
This sums it up, he was giving it his all, the others weren’t. He over compensated and in doing so caused us even more problems.

I didn’t see it properly at the game and watching it back thought it was a bit harsh, it wasn’t a leg breaker, he’s brought him down. But then I suppose it was excessive force. I don’t think we’ll win an appeal.
SERIOUS FOUL PLAY
A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.
Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play. -
It was a penalty.
Everton look crap in front of goal.

Big Ange easily. All hype and little substance.
I have a spurs supporting mate that says this about Ange. Thinks he’s been given some very good signings and is doing the bare minimum he should be doing re league position given that all their rivals are in Europe.

You can't do what he did though and worryingly he did it again about 10 minutes later
The lack of discipline in the side annoys me. I’m sympathetic to a yellow for a badly timed tackle or a tactical foul but we’ve had so many stupid yellows for chucking balls away, arguing with refs, grabbing the ball to demand a free kick. Ezri’s not the worst by any stretch. Luiz is getting close to a suspension and at least 3 of his have been for ill discipline.

Our performances in this competition have mainly been pretty poor bar Hibs away and AZ away. Unai is all about conserving the energy for the weekend and playing pedestrian. It’s only worth it if we actually win at the weekend.

Why? We're gonna win the league anyway, it'd have no bearing.

But Italy and Germany are above us in the race for an extra Champions League place?
Yeah we need Leipzig to go out. Unfortunately they’re looking by far the better team.

Out of players listed above, Ramsey would be the one but I’m hoping it doesn’t happen.
Actually surprised Konsa doesn’t get a mention? Bought for a relatively small fee but potentially large return if sold. Again, I wouldn’t welcome it though.
Konsa? No way!

Yeah but I’m convinced we would have had more points on the board if he’d never had that injury. He brings something unique to the side.
This is one of my favourite ever squads, I want them all to stay.

So, we need Real Madrid to knock out Leipzig and Sporting to beat Atalanta from todays games I think.

my favourite bit of VT is our ability to all jump onto a grainy image in the absence of actual news. And i mean this sincerely, takes me back to the pallet gate days, the number of chairs at a press conference.
Also, i think that is Ramsey not Rodgers. Though it also looks like hes wearing a snood and Moreno likes one of those
Rogers is pictured wearing a snood and black gloves in the other pictures. I think it’s Rogers but it would be amazing if it was Ramsey and for once, this was all a false alarm.

They look mentally broken.

Definitely could beat 9-0 tonight.

No mention from Gary Neville that this might be a result that knocks United out of the running for a Champions league place.
Yeah, I’d like him to revisit that speech he gave after the victory against us in which he said that United were coming and us and spurs would be scared and feeling the pressure.

Has Unai said when we’ll see him again?
