  1. Buying players from Leagues that are three or four levels below the Premier is always a gamble. Whether Morelos could step up is a very is a tough call considering that Rangers will want top dollar.

I think buying from the Championship is a bit safer.

I actually believe that Tammy A is very close to being England's best CF, I can see him starting ahead of Kane for England before long.

You are !00% right about Vardy, when he steps on the pitch he is only focused on one thing & will run thru walls to get there. Wesley needs a touch more of that.

I think Abraham is fantastic but to say he’s better than England’s captain and potentially England’s best striker of all time in Kane is a bit wide of the mark in my opinion.

A lot of Villa fans have been getting on Wesley’s back but I think he’s doing just fine, although he hasn’t scored for a few games. He just needs one to go in off his backside to stop the rot and get the fans onside again

    Read it again !!

I never said thatTammy was better. I said that he was very close to being Englands best CF. I never said the best of all time, I was referring to the the present day. Kane is just plain awful lately and Tammy is hot. Work it out !!

PS If you think Kane is the best striker of all time then bless you.

We can’t afford for Wesley not to do well, if we doesn’t, we will get relegated or close to it. As it stands, I’d bite your hand off for 17th.

I miss Abraham greatly, he was terrific for us and played a big role in us getting promoted. He was always destined for bigger things though sadly, as he has shown this season with Chelsea

I can see what you’re saying with Sharp but I think he’s such a natural goalscorer, he could pretty much play in any side. The Sheffield United side is pretty much built around him

As for Vardy, I think he is a bit of an animal but I like that side of him. A lot of players these days are too nice

Easy to leave sterling out for a game like this. Performances of Maddison merits him a chance in the team. Know hw wants to look at younger players but he should beg Vardy to reconsider his retirement. The outstanding striker in Premier League since Rodgers took over.

The problem was that Southgate struggled to use Vardy very well. He set the team up for Kane & Vardy was always just a fill in for him. Both great players but completely different styles of play.

Really no point in Vardy returning to the team just to sit on the bench.

strikers in general, vardy is an obvious exception, you can argue Ulloa and okazaki served a purpose but after that you've spent almost £130m on perez, ghezzal, Iheanacho, slimani and musa, that's mental money

Rodgers did sign dembele and Edouard for celtic so who knows

one fifty-five if you include Iheanacho.

I would be surprised if mitrovics new contract didn't have buy out or release clauses in there.

Our forward line is far too passive. Mitrovic is an aggressive player, we need a bit more aggression as trez el ghazi and wes dont challenge for headers, they turn their backs, mitrovic while no Duncan Ferguson is still far better in the air than any of our players (including mings).

Being able to cross into the box high or low and know there's a good chance our forward will be busting a gut to get on the end of it will make a nice change.

I'm a big fan of Mitro, he plays with passion and desire & I believe thats is contagious. He would give you some different options and is the type of player Grealish could play through balls to.

But..... you have Kelechi Iheanacho for that 😜

He really hasn't done much of anything since joining us and has even lost his spot with the Nigerian team. I know lots of sports media have been raving about Leicester's scouting but we also made a few boners along the way & it's looking like Iheanacho might be one of them.

Another 2 goals for Bowen today, didn't even realise he was up to 8 already. I'd go for him.

I think a few Premier League will be in for Bowen this January. He has shown that he can consistently score at the Championship level.

I would love to see Leicester go for him as a back up for Vardy.

Maddison has brought shame on the jersey by pulling out injured and then turning up in a casino giving it the big one splashing cash in front of the fans.

His inclusion is just as strange as hudson odoi Who is just another flash in the pan winger with a double step over. (ravel morrison, shaun wright phillips, trevor sinclair)

Its corruption on a new level. bring back graham kelly

He was sent home as he had the flu & the concern was other players getting sick.

Nothing says you can't go to the casino when you are under the weather.

Was it the best move after being sent home ? Probably not but really not shameful.

Southgate is the sort of nob that thinks he knows more than anyone now he is in the England job. The reality of the situation though is that he got the position by default. He gave good head at a time when the FA wanted an Englishman in charge and only the dinosaurs were willing to take the job. He was the typical passive nice guy coach the FA always hire given the opportunity. Not anywhere near the likes of Howe, Smith and Wilder. He is and is proving to be without doubt just another wankstain excuse for a manager. Championship level at best.

The problem is he could keep the job for long time. I don't expect him to fail but I also don't expect him to succeed. By the time it's realized that he is taking us nowhere ten years will have elapsed & we will be no further ahead. It worries me that players like Grealish & Maddison who don't fit the Chelsea/Spurs/Man U & C mandate will struggle to get game time.

I still would like us to sign Bowen, before someone else does. I heard that clown Ken, who telephones Radio WM so often, suggest that the Noses go for him a few days ago. As if they could afford him and is if he would consider joining them. :D A couple of other interesting names above as well.

Was surprised that Bowen wasn't picked up in the Summer by a Premier league club. He appears to have all the skills needed to play in the prem.

Embarrassing that Newcastle are above us

The Premier league is a marathon not a sprint !!

Don't worry about who's ahead of you after 10K, worry about wether you are feeling good and still have gas in the tank. Its about where you are at the finish line that counts.

He is cutting it, but the players around him are not. We aren't as free flowing in attack as we were in the championship, so Grealish's chances are fewer, and not being finished.

Grealish aint the problem. Our wings and striker is.

Grealish is playing well but is limited by his team mates,  I rate him highly and expect the "big clubs" to come for him this year.
