    Quote

There has been a 1,350% increase in hate crimes against Jewish people as the Middle East crisis erupted, the Metropolitan police have said, with no arrests so far in nine out of 10 alleged offences.

Figures from the Met covering London show that 218 antisemitic offences were recorded from 1 October to 18 October this year, compared with 15 in the same period last year.

Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October, and Israel attacked Gaza shortly after.

Im just saying chill with the rhetoric and demonization of israel.Nothing good is coming from that.

And guess what if Jewish people have responsibilities and some blame to carry how their Israel government acts. Then Palestinians have those same responsibilities and blame to carry for their government.

You cant just act like they have 0 responsibilities  thats exactly what is happening on this forum.

Or like when a region of more than two million people stands on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe in which tens of thousands of human beings are going to die, someone says "YES! YES! water and power are such a mythical things you cant store them somehow"? That type of thing?

I condemn the Hamas attacks on civilians on October the 7th.

I support the idea of a free Palestine.

I condemn the Israeli attacks on civilians since October the 7th.

The fact is that the attacks on innocent people on October the 7th are in the past, they can't be prevented - we have to work to prevent them happening again in future - but right now, there are attacks happening in Gaza on innocent people and those attacks are escalating, I think that's where attentions should be focused.

So with that line "YES! YES! water and power are such a mythical things you cant store them somehow"   i made fun of people on this forum who actually shut their brains off and just blame everything on israel with 0 thinking and 0 rationality. Maybe apply some good faith and  think but i know its hard when you think im extremist because i disagreed with you. Dont know why you deleted that comment you clearly believe it.

As much as some people want to brush those comments and those messages during the attack under the rug. Sorry not happening.

    I've not seen any 'those'.

    The attacks were horrendous.

As are the ones going on right now.

So read about it. You must understand that this is the whole issue when people keep asking if you condemn hamas every time. And when people are very skeptical when someone just shit on israel 24/7 with 0 rationality.

Because after and even during the terrorist attack there were people on the internet and even in real life who said and i quote: Free Palestine or We support free Palestine or Palestine has the right to defend itself.

I think everyone with 2 braincells understand that in that time saying that the meaning drastically changes.

Its like if some homophobic guy in US kills 50 gay people and during that terrorist attack on the internet and some students in real life makes statements we are for traditional family!  or something.

Just an observation but why if you are the innocent party do you need to put out tweets that imply you were behind it, and fake audio evidence to imply you weren't behind it. I mean, it's almost as though they don't actually know if they were behind it - and that just paints a picture of an army and a government in chaos.

As i understand that audio i not proven that it is fake. They actually say that this analysis cannot categorically state that the audible dialogues are fake. They say its two independent recordings and that they have been edited by some software or tool they added effects and they made to appear that its one recording. They say that its been so much edited that you cant use it as evidence.

    What does that mean?

They probably have original unedited recordings to provide in courts or other serious parties. This version was edited specifically for media was altered for better hearing removed background noises and better consumption for people and media. And that actually might be standard practice i would think so.

There is special kind of stupid to just fake the audio recording and evidence and i dont think they are so stupid.

Well the "investigation "is not very serious. I mean they basically saying look at that rocket trajectory it cant land there. like come on.

  11. 10 minutes ago, OutByEaster? said:

I've been watching the news today in terms of the hospital bombing - there was wide coverage yesterday that concluded that it was very likely the taped conversation between the two members of Hamas was fraudulent - there's been more information today on the device itself, with analysis of the video/audio that's emerged suggesting it's unlikely to have a been a fragment from a missile - I'd recommend Channel 4 news.

The beheading thing was a fascinating example of how the journalism of war and politics works - for starters, we've got an absolutely horrific murder of infants, a war crime in the eyes of absolutely any sensible opinion.

I suspect someone present was so keen to ensure the world understood how awful it was, how truly horrific, that they over-egged the pudding to a journalist and added beheadings - the UK press in particular leapt on it - beheaded babies is such a strong image, it sells papers, it screams a message and it allows a shortcut to a justified anger. Journalists in Israel and members of the Israeli government quietly suggested it hadn't happened - we had Netanyahu releasing shocking pictures of dead infants, I think to ensure that even though the beheading claim was wrong, the strength of the crime itself wouldn't be underplayed based on the inaccuracy of one rash claim - it was still a truly chilling, heartless crime.

Quietly pretty much all of the media were rolling back on it at exactly the time that the President of the USA claimed he'd seen pictures of it - again, a President using an image as a shortcut to making a point to a lot of people on the seriousness of a crime. US officials have quietly suggested since that it wasn't what he saw or said - but at this early stage in the Presidential cycle in the US, the President claiming to see things he hasn't seen isn't something that can be true - so it became true again for a couple of days before everyone quietly rolled back on it.

It's an horrendous war crime and should be treated as such - but there's no evidence of the beheading of babies.

Then we've got the President of the USA boldly claiming he'd been able negotiate with Israel a secure access to Gaza for a symbolic convoy of twenty aid lorries through the border with Egypt - it didn't happen the next day as there needed to be repair to the roads in Gaza as Israel had reportedly bombed the area after the announcement - that still hasn't happened as the Israeli's are delaying it on the basis of their concerns it'll wind up in the hands of Hamas.

Much of that is my opinion - I've read a lot of things in the last couple of weeks, I'm sure a lot of us have.

I heard that and i just watched the channel 4 news coverage of that hospital bombing its not very serious lets be honest.  Who was behind the Gaza hospital blast – visual investigation - YouTube  maybe there is another video that im missing.

You say its very likely taped conversation between the two members of Hamas if fraudulent. Are you basing what channel 4 said? Their argument was and i quote: Hamas calls it obvious fabrication two independent Arab journalists told us the same thing because of language accent syntax dialect and tone. Non of it they say credible.

    Doesn't sound very serious.

  12. 5 minutes ago, OutByEaster? said:

There seems to be an increasing amount of evidence that Israel's version of events around the bombing of the hospital has some huge holes in it, and more and more it looks like an Israeli bombing. With the story about the beheadings also having been proved untrue (as it was initially before it was re-claimed as true so as not to embarrass a US President at opening of his campaign cycle) and the Israeli refusal to allow aid through to Gaza from Egypt (even though they said they would), there's a picture building of a nation that doesn't have a particularly merciful outcome in mind.

This is going to be a bloodbath, and with the US and its Western Allies, including the UK, right behind Israel, there's going to be nothing to do but watch tens or hundreds of thousands of people die while we listen to folks on the telly say that they aren't targeting those hundreds of thousands of people and it's just unfortunate.

    Great.

I think you're smarter than that. What kind of evidence do you need? Big western european countries deny free speech for Palestinians and human people supporting Palestine. That's a fact. UK sends weapons to israel so they can continue the genocide in Gaza. What do you want more than that? Palestinians in eastern european countries are afraid to utter the word Palestine. Do you want me to prove it? Do you want a zoom call with these people?

Instead of arguing with me, you can fight for freedom of speech. You don't like Palestine? Fine. Idgaf. Nobody said you have to.

Balkans and Central Europe See Rival Pro-Israel and Pro-Palestinian Protests | Balkan Insight

    Quote

Protests in support of both Israel or Palestine have been held in cities across the Balkans and Central Europe, highlighting divisions over the recent bloody events in the Middle East and who is to blame.
Balkan and Central European countries saw protests in support of both Israel and Palestine over the recent conflict between Hamas militants in Gaza and the Israeli military. Tens of thousands of people gathered in front of mosques in Turkey on Friday after prayers.

“Muslims do not sleep, take care of your brothers,” they chanted at the main event in Istanbul at the square of Beyazit Mosque.

The event was organised by Islamist NGOs which urged Muslim countries to help Palestinians and had a special message for the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which is trying to mediate between the two sides. “Mehmetcik [a name for Turkish soldiers] to Gaza!” they chanted.

In addition to many gatherings across Turkey, Islamist parties will hold a big rally on Sunday in Istanbul in support of Palestine.

After Hamas militants launched a surprise massive attack against Israel, killing over a thousand people, Israel’s government has declared “war”. Israel’s military struggled for days to crush Palestinian fighters still embedded in southern towns and intensified their bombardment of the Gaza Strip....

So you just make wild claim after wild claim and here people have to refute you or your wild claims stand and are true right??? thats the shtick.

Do Palestinians in Palestine have this free speech huh? they want from us EU more than from their government isn't that interesting huh?

What's wrong with Palestine being free from the river to the sea? Just more zionist propaganda to stifle Palestinian liberation. The meaning with the expression is not for you or any other zionist to decide the meaning of.

Momo you didint learn anything from yesterday about your statements that Izrael bombed gaza hospital and there is 1000 dead? Dont jump to conclusions.

This is not nobody from x village who is talking this is senator i think he know more than he can say on the tv. Just wait till he provides evidence just like with the hospital.

For you to claim just for a tweet you would have to know that he has nothing. And you dont know that you again just jumping to conclusions and trying to push a narative.

Benzema tweetet in support of Gaza. Suddenly he is to be stipped from his French citizenship.

    https://www.politico.eu/article/france-senator-gerard-darmanin-demand-karim-benzema-stripped-citizenship-muslim-brotherhood-accusation/

Villa hero El Ghazi was suspended by his club for expressing solidarity with Palestine.

This happens because Europe think Palestinians are of inferior species. That's dehumanization 100%. The Palestinian flag is prohibited in England. People has been arrested. The same in Germany and France. This is a violation of free speech and human rights with regards to Palestine. And people really defend and accept this. Europe said never again. But they lied.

So this is an actual propagandist.

A French senator on Wednesday called for Karim Benzema to be stripped of his French citizenship after Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin suggested the football star was linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, a Sunni Islamist party considered to be a terrorist group in several Middle Eastern countries.

Not a tweet but links to terrorist organization you just lied.

El ghazi statement was not just solidarity. He went into conspiracy theory that burned baby picture was ai generated its not proven by anyone as of now as i know. He said from river to the sea line which means.

"From the river to the sea" (Arabic: من النهر إلى البحر min al-nahr ila al-bahr) is, and forms part of, a popular Palestinian political slogan. It has been used by many Palestinian nationalists to assert varying territorial claims as to the boundaries of an independent Palestinian state as encompassing all of the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, comprising the combined area of Israel and the Palestinian territories.  Critics of the slogan argue that it is calling for the land to be placed entirely under Arab rule at the cost of the State of Israel.[14]

This is not just expressing solidarity with Palestine .

    So another misrepresentation and lies.

They killed 4000 Palestinian civilians, or would you rather me use the israeli connotation "human animals"? Building after building destroyed. They drop bombs on their heads in this open prison.  This is an ongoing genocide where the occupying inhumane people are trying to push occupied population out of the country.

oh please...  that human animal quote if you would apply even the bare minimal of good faith you would know what he wanted to say and who he was talking about.

Phrases like open prison or genocide... I think if you are right your argument should stand without lies or exaggerations.

Its very interesting that people would blame Izrael for dropping bombs on those buildings but they wont blame terrorists who occupies those building and uses population as human shields.

Its very interesting that people would blame Izrael for locking and surrounding Gaza but they will ignore countless acts of aggression and terrorists acts and wars.

What kind of blame bears Palestinian people for not deradicalizing their population for not creating a strong and good democratic opposition to hamas for not pushing them out of Gaza? none? give me break.

  18. He is playing like there is another defender behind him so he can make a mistake and to me that gives the impression that he dont care very much. Im very worried how he is turning off in dangerous tense situations its absolutely unacceptable from last line of defense.

are you on the McGinn thread giving him dog's abuse for his appalling shooting or Ramsey's thread for being flicked off the ball like a tic tac, or Watkin's who has been largely anonymous the last two games.. Or Luiz who had about three touches and Donk even less.

I bet before a game's even finished you're on this thread readying your disdain and anger.

Buendia has been awful the last two games but he's not alone, we need more depth in this squad, but he is one of very few that can make anything happen, but we do need more and better options, but I feel with better players around him Buendia still has plenty to offer.

As a team the injuries have cost us dearly as we look tired and a mile of the pace, Emi needs to rotate players and give some a rest.

Word abuse is being used very very losely in here....

I remember watching Lee Hendrie. Wonderful on the ball, good awareness of what was around him and some lovely link up play. Popped up with the odd screamer too.

He used to get bullied off the ball, being a smaller player, especially in the middle of the park. He could be a little inconsistent, but that was mostly when the other team was getting on top in midfield.

Oh.. and he used to cop dogs abuse on here.

    Sound familiar?

"Yah guys stop criticizing how players play its abuse"  NO Stop crying its not abuse.
