I think losing Jack would have an impact on who we could attract. Would JWP want to come? ESR (however unlikely we are to sign him) looks up to Jack - would he leave his boyhood club if we sold him? Would Tammy come back if he was sold? They're just examples but I think a huge part of selling us to players is Jack being here.
There is some truth to that. I think this is a key reason why he needs to sign that contract, he needs to sacrifice for the Villa and help the club return to glory. IF he truly "loves" Villa like he says he does, he will sign that new contract in a heartbeat!

Just think how big the news will be if/when he signs that new contract. We would have KO the current Premier League champions, we would be seen as THE ambitious, go-to club in English football! Showing we aren't going to bullied by one of the super league clubs! We are here to compete & win! Come on Jack, give back to the club! Become a true icon.
City followers hate us after the Barry move and the waving of fake cash (), why play for that lot? They detest Brummie Villa supporters, and lets be honest we detest their club in return. You wouldn't be loved there, only tolerated until the next mercenary shows up! Sign the deal Jack! Get the monopoly money celebration going at VP against those clowns. It is Villa's time now!

Out of interest, have we given this " special player " anything? . Or has he done this all on his own?
We have given him a lot and he has thrived as a result!

He already did the dirty on Ireland so he has form which leads me to believe he will jump ship but I hope I'm wrong!
I might be wrong but I get the impression, Jack is more Villa than he is/was Irish.

We are going to have to trust NSWE & Purslow, I think they will get this right for the "club". The truth is Grealish has only really started to perform for Villa since they took over. NSWE have essentially invested and built a team around Jack from the get go. They want him to stay too, offering him a bumper new contract again. He is a huge component to Villa's future. He has a very special, unique relationship here. Everybody at the club loves him! He can make real history with his boyhood club IF he decides to stay.
City won't give him the same leeway as Villa give Jack. City will want blood for 120 Million. There will be no lengthy time off to recover for England tournaments especially with recurring shin injuries, no captaincy, more media attention to off the field behaviours too. He wouldn't be the star of the show there. And also they could be looking to replace Jack in 2-3 seasons' time to continue the ruthless cycle of success, especially if he under performs or has bad fortune with injuries (see Sterling). Of course, the opportunity to work with Pep, working with other high class players, regular champions league football and the potential shortcut to winning trophies will obviously appeal to him. Of course, he will back himself at City but there is still a lot for JG to sacrifice.
But If it was a choice between Grealish & NSWE, I would pick NSWE over Grealish any day of the week. We wouldn't even have a club if it wasn't for their intervention, let alone being in the Prem and building for a very successful future. The future is still very bright regardless what happens with Jack. We are a team, not one individual. If Jack leaves, lets make him regret it! UTV!
But hopefully Jack sees sense and signs the new contract with the Mighty Villa!

What has he done deliberately that could possibly have injured an opponent badly?
He accidentally caught Oliveira and Ibra when jumping over a fallen player. That's his only real thing that could have hurt anyone.

Mings plays with an aggressive mentality, and the truth is - he has the potential to injure an opposition player really badly. Very scary.

Lerner had us dressed up as Barney the dinosaur - way too much purple!

How dare we try to leapfrog Spurs and Arsenal, two European Super League contenders before it was tragically stripped away from their greedy prick owners.
We’re not a big a club because we’ve not won anything since English football started, which I’m guessing is around the time Wenger started managing Arsenal.
Since 92.

I used to think this. He’s good, tackles well, recovers the ball well, good passer, great ethic, I used to think he was a one trick pony, I now don’t think so. Had some good chats with Saints fans who all said the same thing - he does a lot more without being noticed.
Gareth Barry.

Leeds fans are an extremely odd bunch of people. They always seem very angry and seem to want to pick fights with every other set of fans. They're like some weird cult.
Indeed. They are mainly rugby fans that have come back to watch Leeds again. Their supporters were totally different in League 1, especially when we signed Delph from them - they welcomed it. I think their core supporters are much more humble and know where they have come from in recent times.

Blimey! They have truly embarrassed Doug, Randy and Tony within three years!

What bits of cameo, i have seen, i am cautiously, optimistic about Morgan.
He looks neat and tidy to me.....needs to bed in.
Piano carrier or player?

Great news judging by the reaction of so many that follow the academy closely.

Very strange statement by Scholes. A dig at our club too, which he has done previously before. I prefer him to be very quiet like he was when he was playing, I do not want to hear/read his shite views. What is it with this Utd mob on the TV nowadays? They are everywhere spouting their bollocks.

Emi would throw his body on a grenade if it means getting a clean sheet and 3 points.

Emi is the best!

Contributes a lot to the team without scoring. The goals will come!!! (Hopefully all against Man Utd at OT )

Let the media & other fans think what they like. We have been labelled a lot of things over the last three years, every single thing proven wrong! They still think Lerner/Doug run the show, let them believe that. There is a reason those so called top clubs are running off to create a super league.
