Basically  its now impossible for anyone else to do a 'man city' and they buy any good players from teams who might try to do this.

Them and Chelsea got so,so,so lucky in their owners at the right time.

I wouldn't want to do it like Citeh. Any success they have is tainted by the way that they have achieved it.

Just seems something so wrong about these dickheads trying to form the ESL (getting blasted for it by all in the media) fiddling FFP, and then still being allowed to put huge offers out for players without any consequences.

Not to mention the same media bods who were so against the ESL now seemingly not bothered about the actions anymore and activeoy promoting speculation about it for clicks.

Just doing what they want. It's gross.

Bang on. It is hilarious because the City fans (sheep) say they are standing up against the elites of football. But in reality they are standing side by side with the likes of Utd to crush other clubs and the competition. The only club who are anything like that are Leicester City IMO.  City fans surely jest when they say that sort of stuff. They are a corrupt machine with no ethics. I genuinely despise what they are and how they act. Man City 1880-2008.

I don't think he will. He'll be playing with world class players and in a system that will take his game to the next level.  He won't flop. He's an incredibly talented player.

I see many think he'll play on the left wing, but I see him playing more in midfield in a rotation with KDB and Gundo.  No doubt he'll play wide occasionally though.

I also see concerns around Jack's shin problems, well given City play in excess of 50 games a season and have a very good squad there is no need for him to play in every fixture (which he won't) so he'll get decent breaks to keep him fit.

Spend the 100 million wisely.  Don't be like Spurs/Bale.

There is quite a big part of me that thinks supporting villa or any team outside of the top 3/4 is a total waste of time. Unfortunately I’m physically unable to stop but we will never compete for anything. We are simply not allowed.

Keep fighting. Keep dreaming. The elites want us to give up. I am glad I am a Villa fan - Win, Lose or Draw. I am here for my lifetime.

Been thinking about what Dean makes of this Grealish saga. You can dress it up all you like, but his record with Jack is abysmal. Of all the people worried by this transfer, I imagine he’s at the top of the list.

Not trying to sound negative, but Dean has relied heavily on Jack over the last 3 years and if/when he leaves, he’s gonna have to figure out a way of playing without him otherwise he’ll be without a job by Xmas.

Very true. I have had my doubts about Smith but he has developed a good team/squad. We have progressed season on season under him. I hope he takes some offence at the accusation that he has only achieved with Villa because of JG. I hope that makes him hungrier to succeed.

  6. I do find it hilarious that a lot of Citeh fans believe they are challenging the elite, and standing up against the traditional top clubs like some shining light. They are the elite! A ruthless machine. Win at any cost mentality. Unethical to the core. And also forgetting, they were one of the first clubs to rush off to form the anti-competitive Super League.  Never forget that.

City fans were very silent when that happened, a cowardly silence. Yet they think everybody is against them. The Premier League. UEFA. FIFA. Other clubs/fans. 🤣 They have been allowed to financially dope for many years, whilst non elite clubs have stuck to the rules.  But everybody is against them!!!? What world do they live in!? No ounce of modesty for how they have/are gaining their successes. All somebody else's fault.  Oh and apparently losing a Champions League final is a hardship to them. 🤣 So spoilt.

This will be my last post about the plastics, I do not want to waste anymore energy on them - they are not worth it. I also urge Villa fans not to join that Bluemoon forum. They do not want to engage respectfully or intelligently with us,  nearly everything is met with derision and nothing is gained.

Jesus wept. Look at this Quisling on Blue Moon

"There's still plenty of our fans who think he isn't leaving us. It's as if they can't understand why a player who's a boyhood fan might want to play in the CL and win a few trophies in the prime of his career. I've said it numerous times on Twitter but our fanbase have got to be amongst the most irritating in English football."

🤣 Who is this? Come on, own up!

Lol Bluemoon and odd City fans discussing Brummie fans are worst fans out there.

Think City fans should take a look in the mirror

They are a very strange bunch on that forum. They hate everything Villa and they detest Brummies. Probably because we won't put up with their rubbish. It is Thomas Shelby vs Curly Watts when it comes to both clubs 🤣

  9. Seems like my comments about ethics have hit a nerve on the Bluemoon forum. Sorry guys but some of us have morals, some of us aren't selfish, some of us have pride in wanting the "right" outcomes regardless of whether it benefits our own clubs. I was happy when ESR signed a contract with Arsenal, I was happy when Kalvin Phillips stayed with Leeds. I was disgusted when Rooney joined Utd from Everton. I was delighted when the Super League was toppled. I strongly believe loyalty & community means everything in British football. City fans may have erased all their values and morals to cheer on the mercenaries playing in their shirt, but I won't.  It speaks volumes of City fans trying to justify their "owners ambition". No time for that lot on Bluemoon. Slap them with a big points deduction!

The premier league should have taken strong action to punish the so called breakaway teams -too soft as usual - points deductions were needed

Too soft indeed. Those clubs needed a points deduction and then some.  But what we got was a meek slap on the wrist and a fake apologise & future promises (lies) made by a fat cat CEO. Not good enough.

I keep seeing people say we are under no pressure to sell. Percy and others have said there is a significant release clause in there. £100m would have been significant when he signed the deal. Not saying there is one but don't think we can rule it out. Whether someone pays it is another thing. If he ends up going then no point crying. Unlike previous regimes this one will reinvest the money

Hopefully not re-invested like the magnificent seven for Spuds. 🤣

  12. Hopefully this is resolved this week! Everybody knows my thoughts. Sign the contract Jack! Do not spit in the face of every Villa man, woman and child!  Do not play for the plastic lot, they hate Villa with a passion because we have tradition, history & class.  All of City's recent success is built on players that Villa developed. City stopped YOUR club from making history. Your DNA is woven in Aston Villa Jack, you are the face of our club. Make the right choice.
