Fair play to Pat Nevin he's calling it right on 5Live (not complimentary).

The branding, pulling back the stadium expansion plans, injuries, FFP whispers and performances. **** me Villa don’t half do things properly do they?!
Settle down.

5 straight subs??

Yeah Unai has been weird with the subs recently.
I'm sure there is something behind it but can't put my finger on.
I'll take a punt. Unai is respected across the footballing world for his CV. I doubt there's a single respectable CV in any field on these boards at this moment.

Not sure I've got this second half in me.

Literally every team has a blip at some point. This is ours.

TYPICAL VILLA. Not wiping the floor with every team we come up against!

Has anyone on VillaTalk met Duran? Does anyone actually know anything about his attitude? Ever notice how it’s only black players who seem to have bad attitudes and are hard to manage?
Great opening couple of questions. Terrible final question.

If Aston Villa were forced to sell Jacob Ramsey for some BS FFP abomination, I would step away from football for a while.

8 teams in the quarters, 4 of whom would be (potentially) us, city, utd, plop. Odds are it is likely we could draw one of those
Why is this even being debated? We know for a cast iron fact we'll be drawn away at one of Old Trafford, Anfield or the Etihad if we do get through.

Why is this likely?
New to the Villa, Don?

Gotta say, there's never been a better time to be Villa manager. Chelsea and Man United in disarray, and now Liverpool inevitably dropping down a few places next season. Pep will be off next!
It's our time. Unai must see this.

Started every game he was fit for Wolves, starts for Belgium, now moving to Italian champions napoli
But as our 3rd choice holding midfielder and 5th choice CM overall? **** shit mate not good enough...
He was perfectly fine for the role that he had here
Always rated him at Wolves, and rated him here too. Years back... c.Paul Lambert, say, we'd be hailing such a player as a Villa legend. We're miles ahead now, which reflects on us, not Dendonker.

So, I think I'm just going to sneak this in here. Understand if I'm banned for life. But, why, when there's so much design talent on these boards, is the Villa Talk branding so incredibly poor? "www." - what is this, the early '90s?
Thanks for the memories all...

It's a bit of a stroll for them here tonight tbh.
Gah! Terrible news.

Guess this has already been mentioned but Chelsea playing tonight and Friday night??
If I gave a shit about Chelsea (the opposite is true here) I'd suggest this was unfair.

I think we need to fend off Spurs for 4th place ultimately. Going to be hard.
I think it's supposed to be hard, that's why the league is so universally popular. Worry that the ultimate Villa gift© is for us to cede 4th to Spurs toward the very end of the season, meaning Spurs don't 'Spurs' it up.
-
Currently sat 4th in the league and feel a sense of disappointment! Astonishing how far we've come in such a short time.
-
If nothing else, we got one hell of a thread from this signing!
