  1. I don't need to defend my position.. Our league position does that for me
  2. The fight for top 6 is well and truly over so there will be nothing to worry about regards to this I am afraid
  3. My main issues with the stability and patience crap quit frankly is this.. He's on a rolling contract.. If he was here for us to be 'patient' then why is he not on a 3-4 year deal? It's very evident that he was brought in for the short term only to get us up as quickly as possible namely this season not next season - they wanted him to get into the play offs Considering we are 15th i find this patience and stability talk absolutely incredible and rather a big fat excuse by the board who are now saving face Rdm was wanted by the owner himself and not Wyness and round... They persuaded him to sack rdm to bring in Bruce... To sack Bruce they would probably be looking at the exit door themselves.. Hence why the goal posts have moved
  4. He didn't build a foundation.. But Fergy had his own foundation hence why when he left united are struggling to create another now hence their own mismanagement Luckily they can keep getting it wrong due to their large revenue streams
  5. Hi mate Well I didn't expect promotion for bruce this season... But what I did expect was a big fight for top 6..His target when appointed was top 6 We are 15th... He's fcked it up
  6. You see there is where you and I differ massively It's considered a great job getting promoted? Sorry but it is expected and on par with his remit to get promoted.. Abit like it was expected for him to achieve top 6 this season.. When you spend man city money the demands for success are higher by default... After all you pay more money for players because they are meant to be a cut above the rest of the of the oppositions players in the league why the hell else would you do it? Wagner is doing a great job and Hughton and with 30m net profit so is rafa who has zero knowledge of the championship prior to this season. Bruce getting promoted with a club breaking all the records of spend at this level is not a 'great' job
  7. Yes that's correct... Dean Smith is benefiting from the work Warburton did there at Brentford IF Bruce is doing a bad job??? IF 15th in the league is pathetic so therefore factually Bruce is doing a TERRIBLE job
  8. Why? We have the promo specialist with the most expensive squad in the league Let's just wait and see what the odds will be
  9. Ay how you work that out.. If this season was never going to happen according to some then surely next season would be more like 2/1
  10. We were like 9/2 this season lol So what stake?
  11. What terms would you like mate
  12. He was injured when rdm purchased him Rdm got zero time Because round wanted Bruce and not rdm for a manager I'd rather have rdm all season than Bruce at least we had a go and got in the lead most games
  13. Didn't say he was no good did I? Sorry but don't misquote me He left them in the lurch? Well that is a strong debate among many united fans There is nothing positive about being 15th in the fizzy pop league nothing And there is nothing positive about watching Bruce's negative dire anti football on a weekly basis I'll be positive when I can see something positive to be about
  14. Sorry but we are living off our past glory... At the moment we are still an embarrassing state of affairs There has been zero to be proud about in the last 7 years and that includes this season I can't think of one club who has spent our kind of money to almost be in a relegation scrap.. In fact I'd rather watch last season again over this season of getting beaten by chumps sides who cost hardly anything to build
  15. Ever wondered that rmc didn't want to play negative tripe football under the Dinasour? He seems more than happy smashing the goals in at Fulham.. He's scored for 3 seasons running yet when Bruce turns up he don't wanna know? Spending 12m to send him out on loan that same season is more evidence of mismanagement again...
  16. Clubs Huddersfield Sunderland Wigan Birmingham Who else? I wonder why no club of any worth has even remotely bothered with Bruce? His football is utter tripe he plays like the underdog and sets up for a 1-0 win and based on this season it's mainly turned out to be a 1-0 loss especially away from home. These are not foundations for success and never will be
  17. Well alot of united fans actually do think this... He got out at the right time etc.. He also has a massive ego and a united fan on Tuesday night also claimed he did what he did to make him look even more of a genius than he already looked The only thing worth laughing at is the apparent unquestionable support Bruce has among alot of villa fans.. Standards on the pitch have clearly dropped and standard off the pitch have clearly also dropped
  18. The promotion specialist is 15th in the league with a 40m net spend side having brought in a load of his own players to help him achieve it. His target was play offs of which he completely messed up when it was in his grasp And that's what cannot be debated or argued its pure fact
  19. Stevo Where are all his clubs he's managed now? What foundation's did he build there for long term success? Zero Enough said on that..i applaud the convincing long-winded post above to justify his position but sorry he has never improved a club in the longer term for the best ever
  20. Based on this season clearly not.. We are 15th!!! This is abysmal performance for such a promotion 'specialist' His job when he came in was to get top 6 THIS season it was very very clear.. His rolling contract also implies this. Now that's not possible the board who employed him in their attempt to save face have moved the goal posts talking about 'stability' blah blah blah bs bs bs To sack Bruce would mean Wyness has overseen 2 failed appointments and not one success in a relatively short period of time...something I think he's desperate to try and avoid explaining for his own sake. He will now make a third mistake by keeping Bruce next season and when it fails he will have cost villa top flight football for years to come I suspect
  21. Didn't stick around to try and keep them up though did he...
  22. Sorry but on what evidence is that nonsense.. I'm happy to take the bet and find a secure way of doing it if someone else is The likely answer is nobody is willing to take me up on it... Wonder why
  23. I would be happy but my point was... I will take the ribbing on here for saying no chance with the dinasour
  24. Bruce has never ultimately improved any club ever... He's an awful manager a complete of date dinasour and not fit to be villa manager just like most of the last 7 years Don't put up win % in the prem vs win % in the bloody fizzy pop league this is embarrassing to be honest the prem is a cut above anything in the chumps so 38% win ratio in the prem is way way better than 38% win rate in the chumps. Bruce won't get another prem job in his career I'm certain of it... And even if he does its because one of his mates like Steve round will give him a job after we eventually sack the pair of them if the owner had any sense The only thing bruce has is his promotions.. But he scraped his last one by the skin of his teeth via play offs with hull with a squad the cost a fortune to build. It's so sad to see some fans low standards for villa these days thinking the answer is an out of date tactically inept dinasour it really is. I firmly believe Bruce will mess next season up just like how he messed up this one.. And you can all bask in the joy if I'm wrong but I'm willing to wager 200 quid to anyone who thinks we will get up next season under Bruce
  25. You are joking aren't you.. 70% of lambert buys were lower league... Sorry this comparison is just a non starter
