Origi now available on a loan deal. Could be the second striker Villa need?

Difference is he's not coming in to start every week here unless we get further injuries. At Spurs he was.
I imagine he'll probably rotate with Pau in the europa games.
I would not want to use a player in any competition if his ability is so poor. He’d quite quickly become a liability!

Surely to goodness there are better defenders available than this guy for extra cover? Spurs mate of mine says he’s absolute shite!

Add Ramsey and Bailey to that as well.
Regarding the striker. If Watkins gets injured in might cause a problem, but how many decent strikers are we going to be able to attract to come her in case out striker that doesn't get injured gets injured?
Someone’s been on the piss.

Nobody linked is a bit worrying. Maybe we're good with what we've got. I can't see what option is available that improves us
It’s only a hunch but since Emery likes Felix and referring to his most recent interviews I still feel there is great interest. Could also explain the recent sales to help pay towards Felix’s wages/loan fee?

I can assure you I’m not posting to get attention. It’s my honest opinion on both players.
I’ve watched Luiz in every live game on Sky. For the life of me I cannot see what all the buzz is about.
Yes he’s a very tidy player but for me Prowse affects the game more.

Finally got to watch the extended highlights on Sky.
Diaby is some player.
Villa very sharp going forward and I can see why Emery brought in Torres. Excellent passer but at the moment a bit timid for a Premiership CB. However, fully expect that to change with more experience in the Premiership.

If we could add a better back-up keeper, another right back, another centre back (for this season alone with Mings out), and left-sided attacker and, a decent striker as either starter or back-up, we would absolutely challenge for that top 4 spot - nailed on.
I’d be absolutely shocked if Villa bring in another five players this week. However I’m another who feels that currently the squad is under strength for the amount of games this season.

I was expecting Ramsey, Archer and Bidace to part of the European squads at the very least. Just thinking ahead to Hibs on Thursday with our injuries already we are forced to play a fair few key players.
Need a RB cover for sure, would take Castagne or Walker-Peters if possible, decent at getting up and down and can play both sides if needed and would offer good competition with Cash.
If Diaby got injured our attack looks a lot weaker, would like someone to replace Coutinho/Buendia role and offer a more creative threat from midfield. Gray has been frozen out at Everton, wouldn't mind him.
Gray would be a decent stop gap signing for Villa.

We must be signing a new RB - Ashley Young would’ve cost us very little and was superb last season (better than Cash) so there’s no way we’d have binned him when we did to leave ourselves short at RB.
Watched him closely for Everton. Villa got rid at the right time.

Good result today. Perhaps Everton should have signed him for £30m? Seems like your sort of overpriced nothing player you'll be stuck with on £130k a week.
Villa have had one or two of those too.

Prowse better than Luiz. Prowse affects the game more.

Prowse just scored alongside his assists last week.
Villa missed out big time not signing him for 30m.

Potentially the best midfielder to ever play for the club
Sorry, but this is complete overhyped, blinkered nonsense!
Not fit to lace Gordon Cowans boots and that’s only for a start.

From what I’ve seen of Archer he is a goal poacher and doesn’t press the opposition so currently he does not suit the way Villa play. It’s a good deal with buy back option but he won’t ever fit into Emery’s style of play.
Think these sales are a lot to do with FFP rules making room for further purchases.

Gnonto back training with Leeds. Leeds turned down a bit of 25m from Everton. Good money for him but Leeds don’t want to sell.

Yet posters on here are saying Lenglet is an ok signing when he was rubbish for Spurs.
At least Origi scored goals at Liverpool and would fill in for Watkins in Europe.
