People need to read shit like this, might open their eyes a bit when they come out with the "should have all the Midlands teams in the top flight" bollocks.

The other Midlands teams can all **** off and go bust, green eyed words removed the lot of 'em.

Couldn’t agree more. I can only suspect that those people don’t live in the Birmingham or West Midlands area itself and don’t have to put up with these jizz stains in every day life.

I do, and it’s why I was punching the air in elation, Unai Emery-style, when SHA got relegated and the Tesco Bags got hammered in the play-offs.

did Udinese need a win to stay up?, looking at the table as long as they matched or bettered Empoli's result, they would have stayed up?

Up until the dying moments a draw would have been enough to keep them up. But Empoli scored in the 93rd minute to beat Roma so that goal from Big Keinan kept them up.

I'm almost positive Barkley is listed incorrectly as 6'2"

I thought the same. There’s inverse Elphick theorem at work here.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather Leeds won the final. I hate watching Southampton - slow, backwards and sideways possession for the sake of possession mixed in with plenty of diving and feigning injury from all their players.

Yet they’ve scored the 3 most goals in the division, but also conceded 63. They’ve been involved in a lot of high-scoring games so it can’t all be boring.

When both clubs actually reside within the same City, it will inevitably cause that rivalry to be more intense. That proximity to each other can engender a febrile intensity. No way do those rivalries between Newcastle and Sunderland, or Nottingham and Derby even come close to us and the noses. I think only Celtic and Rangers top us for hostility. But there are other non football factors at play there.

Not sure I agree on Newcastle v Sunderland. My wife’s from the north east and we spend a fair bit of time up there. They absolutely hate one another and derby days are a complete war zone - not that dissimilar to Villa - SHA.

Here is another gem from SHA:

"You always have to think ahead. They have peaked. We are on the up."

The window lickers are still in the denial stage of grief. They’ll turn angry next week.

How else can being relegated to the third tier of English football be “on the up”?
