Chelsea above them if they win their two games in hand which is as damming  of their season as you can get.

They could've easily been bottom half a few times this season but they always seem to pick up a few wins when in danger of doing that and same will probably happen again as they have Burnley and Sheffield United coming up.

Insane aswell we have six games left and they have a negative GD, last time that happened must've been when they went down in 1973/74.

They finished 6th the season before last with a goal difference of 0. Mad that they could do it twice in 3 seasons.

Isn't this Goldbridge clown just some fella "in character" for likes and subscribers? From the clips posted in here I got the impression it's all just an act. Just like the Keith Lemon bloke.

Yes and people keep giving him attention for some stupid reason.

  3. Hate to be the bringer of bad news but there are tentative signs that God is going to go down the Matt Le Tissier route, still love the man but would wish he stops with this nonsense.

  4. I'm just after realising that David de Gea has pretty much retired since his contract expired last year, they really broke him as a footballer apart from the crazy salary they gave him.

They had the new stadium built around the time they got relegated. Couldn't really afford it so it got bought by the council? Or was it Isuzu/Ricoh? Then rented to them, to keep them running as a club. Then they couldn't afford it so they got kicked out and had to play at the sty and Northampton. Then London Wasps bought it? Or moved up to Coventry and used the stadium, then they went the same way? It's one big cluster ****. There's a casino, and big shopping park there as well. The theme park from the Dr would have been nothing short of an absolute disaster!!

As a kid watching matches on TV I always thought Highfield Road was a cool stadium full of character, it still wouldn't look out of date compared to some grounds in the top two tiers.

Looks like some of the pros are using Dino's this weekend. They've posted some videos on TikTok of some of them there. Posted one of Sam Sulek training there as well

Failed to take your advice as she didn't like the description of old school equipment in Dino's, am currently in the foundry in Chelmsley Wood, it's grand but missing a couple of leg curl variation machines so I'm in trouble even though it's not really my fault. 🤦

  7. Thanks, will probably give that place a go on the morning, the only other half decent option I found was The Foundry gym in Chelmsley Wood but that might be more of a chain type gym.

  8. Quick query, any gym recommendations near the NEC? The girlfriend is into bodybuilding so we are heading to the Arnold Expo this weekend and will have to keep her routine? Looking for something with all the leg machines imaginable?

The arrival of Middle Eastern money has done so much to improve sport hasn't it?

Aramco sponsorship of Aston Martin was completely coincidental when they were on the right side of a corrupt intervention in the Aramco Saudi GP.

Are the losses bigger in the second charge then?

Everton's main points in this are they are being penalised for building a new ground with all the additional cost. They also sold Richarlison to Spurs when they were told to rather than keep him up to end of August 2022 to get some more wins and then a bigger fee.

I'm actually not sure they'll get any points deducted from the second charge as that too would likely be a successful appeal. Think it will be suspended and the premier league will tell them to sell Onana or Branthwaite before the next deadline for FFP.

Forest meanwhile have signed about 200 players since coming up (half of them actually not needed) and they were seemingly very brazen about not selling Brennan Johnson when they were required to so to meet FFP for last season so I think they'll get a hefty points deduction and might find it harder to appeal down.

Hard to have sympathy if they knew they were still in ffp trouble that summer and still went out and paid big/moderately large sums for Onana, McNeil, Maupay and Garner along with big wages on Tarkowski, Gueye and Coady. Of course they may have gotten relegated had they not signed players but that's not an excuse to go out and break the rules.

Nottingham Forest also should get no sympathy if they are in breach, their spending has been stupid.

If Villa end up in breach too then it will be what we deserve for allowing Gerrard waste money/wages but hopefully we have enough business sense to just about avoid any sanctions.

I kind of feel for him because he’s unbelievably good at part of the game and unbelievably bad at another equally important part of the game. It’s a very rare combination that I’m not sure I’ve seen in another player ever.

Tonev was unbelievably good at taking corners with either foot, not much good at anything else.

Sambi Lokonga would be a really smart pickup if possible. Arsenal were dumb enough to sell Emi to us after all.

Press resistant, turning circle similar to McGinn, good passer and good recovery pace.

Right age profile, Belgian and having a great season with Luton.

His best performance for Arsenal was against us in the dying days of the Dean Smith era. His successful loan at Luton will mean they get a good price for him now.

Moreno will still be around next season so he'll be first choice and Lino will be eased in league cup. Wouldn't rule out Ben Chrisene either. He's starting every week for Blackburn and their defensive record has improved last few weeks. Last night at Cardiff he played as LWB in a 3-4-2-1 so that suggests he could be an able Moreno deputy in time.

Also played 13 times for Kilmarnock in first half of 22-23 so he's got a decent amount of experience for someone just turned 20.

Seb Revan is having a full season of Championship football too even if it is for Rotherham.

  14. There never is a good time of year to do your cruciate but at least doing it now means he won't miss much of next season assuming the clubs medical team don't mess up his rehab.
