Duraaaaaaaaaannnnnn!!!!!!
What a goal!!
-
Zaniolo chopped down = no foul????!!
-
We are a threat on the break and from set pieces for sure.
-
Only a touch offside but good effort from mad man Jhon Duran.

I’m all up for some crazy gung ho attacking. We’re gonna lose anyway may as well go for it.

I wish Keane hadn't wound Haaland up!
He’s on the bench, bottled it when heard Olsen was starting.

I think we should be targetting Ortega with a few Duran sliding dangers. Get him off and get Scott Carson on, then pepper his goal with shots from our own half. Viable tactic imo.

Maybe he has a stomach bug and thought he was ok but had a rough turn? I mean have you not been ill before?
Nah mate, Emery doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Can’t believe we’ve already lost this 7-0.

if Olsen is in we may as well throw the game.
Hahahaha FFS mate, get a grip!
Emi Martinez, mentality monster who drinks the pressure of World Cup Final penalty shoot outs, has bottled Man City away. Funniest thing I’ve read all day.

Hopefully whatever has happened to Martinez isn’t serious. This team can’t take many more injuries before there’s nothing left of it

I think most people expected us to lose anyway, I’m not saying we will but I can understand resting key players for games we have more chance in. In the plus side, it might be fun seen what this version of Villa can do?

They did the £5 PPV thing about 15 years ago didn't they?
Setanta Sports? Something like that, I remember subscribing to it on my free view box.

He’s amazing, imagine what he could do for us with another couple of transfer windows and continued development and implementation of his ideas with this team. He’s already my favourite ever Villa manager.

It's not as if noone saw what would happen. But, as always, greed wins.
They were spot on with this, nailed it all apart from the £5 per game ppv. I guess even they didn’t expect inflation to be quite so severe. The second contributor, Alex Flynn, looks remarkably like someone else I know…

I would absolutely love it if they went for Gerrard, even as an interim until someone else comes in. Imagine the smug little grin on his face as he talks about the history and culture of his beloved massive club. Only to then fall apart spectacularly in the first 10 games. They’d never go for him now, but boy would it be fun if they did.

A lot of paper talk about them having to sell Isak to either to Spurs or Arsenal in order to buy in the summer due to FFP. What a lovely system the cartel 6 have in place.
Other clubs are available.
Although admittedly it’s increasingly difficult to get good money outside of the PL.

I think they’ll come for us all guns blazing tonight, especially after their frustrating 0-0 against Arsenal. They are massive favourites but we know we are capable of beating them or indeed anyone when we get it right. The loss of Watkins could be massive for us, his finishing ability when we might not have a lot of chances (who’d have said that two years ago!), his pressing and relentless running, and his penchant for near post clearances from corners.
But rather than fear the worst, I’m going in to this with excitement to see what Duran can do, he might just do something special and with Bailey and Diaby in good form, we can hurt them.
Can’t wait to see how it plays out.

Doesn’t matter too much what their fans want, it’s the players and manager that decide their motivations. Much as it would be great to think the team have given up on 4th, that won’t be the case at all. Spurs looked dejected coming off the pitch at West Ham not because they weren’t bothered. Anyway I still think we will make 4th, but it will be close and we have to expect that we’ll spend some time in 5th along the way and not wet ourselves with worry.

Great to see spurs dropping points.

West Ham seem like they’re holding their own, albeit I’m only reading the commentary. Hopefully they can skank another goal or two. COYI.
