What is the problem with Pearson?. Yes his personality is a bit weird but does that really matter?. It's only the media trying to wind him up. He has the best record of any candidate, including Moyes. BTW I am not saying he is my first choice but he has got Leicester promoted from 2 divisions.

I personally think he has shown great dignity during this spell. Many would have just walked and told the whole world how bad a mess we are in behind the scenes. He may just have given up this season and be prepared to do his talking next year with a whole new team and attitude. Long odds maybe but who knows.

Do people really think any potential owner was going to part with 150 mil to buy us this season. If I was in that position I would wait till we were relegated then turn up at Lerners desk with a big bag containing 75mil cash. Then he will be really tempted to cut his losses and run. New owner gets parachute money and gets to invest a serious amount to get us back up and gets 75% of new tv deal money.

Yes but the only managers who will 1. Be available 2. Have that knowledge 3. Want to do it Are all managers like Pearson, Pulis, Warnock etc who most people on here have said they don't want. Managers like Eddie Howe and Alex Neill are not widely available. We need to decide if getting out at any cost is the priority above pretty football.

Our biggest problem will arrive in the summer when the players who the ' committee ' spent 40million on are worth a combined 5million.

The best thing Garde can do would be to only pick the players who have the right attitude. If that means playing 5 or 6 of the kids i think EVERY fan would be fully behind him. It also sends a very clear message to the board.

I cant see him staying tbh even though i would be more than happy to see him stay. I would have thought he insisted on a clause in his contract that allows he him to leave without penalty if we were relegated. What do people think about Tony Pulis ?. He is leaving the baggies in the summer. Give him a decent contract and tell him to sort us out for a few years. I reckon he would get us back straight away if he was allowed the freedom although it wouldnt be pretty. He would jump at the chance as it would be the biggest club he has ever managed, even in the championship. Better than Nigel Pearson in my opinion.

Hi All, Been reading the forum for a couple of years now and thought i would like to join in. Followed the club since 84 but dont get to many games as i have to work Saturdays. Hope to get to plenty of northern championship midweek games next season if the dreaded happens.
